I've played around with my slit punch and I found that if your cardstock is 5 inches wide and you take your punch on either side as far as it will go, a card will fit perfectly.

Stacym20 - Yes, after playing around with it I found that 5" works too.
I just cut my cardstock like I normally would to make a notecard 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ---- only I cut the extra 1/2 inch off so that it is only 5" wide.
Then I score at 3" & again at 3". This means that section one & section two are 3" long each. What is left for the third section that folds up inside is 2 1/2".
When you push your slit punch all the way in on both sides of the 5" wide cardstock (secton 3 part), it will fit a standard "credit card" size perfectly.
It really is much easier then these directions may sound.

Hi All,
Any suggestions on what to use if you don't have the slot punch? I would like to do these at my next stamp night, but I don't have the slot punch that would allow them to put their gift card in the pouch. Any ideas??
I don't have the slot punch, but I made other cards and just used my cutting system, just don't make a full oval, cut as much as you need, it is a little more work, but it worked for me with the card I was doing. I use the creative memory cutting system, I have the ovals and circles. Hope this help a little.
