I used double sided designer paper. If you only have designer paper with a design on one side...use one of your SU wheels to create a design on the blank side. You really can't see the back side of the flower when done, so you really don't need double sided designer paper. I used it only because I liked both designes and could make several flowers using one side for one card and the oposite side for another card. I cut my ds 2" by 12". I scored the first few lines at 1/4" intervals. Once I got the first few folds done, the rest were easy to fold without the scored lines. Continue to fold every 1/4" like an accordian. (Mountain fold, valley fold, mountain fold etc.) I used sticky tape to tape the two ends together. Once you have it taped together, lay it down on the counter and press till it forms the flower. I used a 1" circle punch to punch out a circle, then glued that to the back of my flower. I put my digital camera on top to weigh the flower down into the glue on the punched circle till it dried.
Then using my scallop circle nesties, I cut out a circle to glue on top for the flower center. I ran that circle thru my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. Then glued the flower center onto the flower. I used the stem and leaves from my DD Terrific Tulips to stamp on the cardstock in always artichoke before gluing the folded flower onto the card.
I have a box template I bought years ago which makes a box you can mail thicker cards in. It does cost extra postage and you need to let the postal clerk know it needs to be hand stamped. That way you can send these beautiful cards through the mail.
I hope this helps.

Sue
