Not sure if this is what you are looking for...cut 1 1/4" squares from coordinated patterned paper, adhere to a piece of white c/s and run through cb embossing folder, trim to size and mount. I think you can add the faux stitching too. HTH.
These are so cute!!! I am going to have to try and make one. I have a lot of other things to do, but, I have to try this first. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Don't stick with just your square punches...the Curly Label punch, the designer label punch, the scallop punches,,,,,even the round punches can all be used to create "pieces" for your quilt. and if you wish...odd shaped scraps can be glued down and then CB'ed and and faux stitched for a delightful "crazy quilt" look.

Thanks so much for posting the link. What a really cute way to use the CB folders. I have quite a few different ones, but never thought to use them to make little squares.
This is why I don't let many days go by without cruising around SCS! I missed this thread the first go-round. You snooze, you lose.

ok heres mine,
was meant to be a large card but i ended up chopping the ends of as i went wrong with the straight edges, was originally 12 squares
once i figure out correct measurements and get the straightness mastered i will definatly make more, i used card but now think i would have been better using paper as its made it a pretty heavy card as its now three layers of card(ooops)
i enjoyed doing it though
