Default Creating Acetate Accents Using All Stampin' Up! products

Acetate accents are all the rage right now, so I wanted to see if I could come up with an alternate to buying them using all Stampin' Up! product (except the acetate of course). It's amazing how easy it is and what the potential for different looks is.

I have included brief instruction below for creating an acetate "sandwich" and attached a picture, but you can see step-by-step pictures on my blog: http://andreawalford.com/?p=577

1. Take a piece of acetate (about 2 1/2" x 6") and fold it in half. Apply a rub-on. Cut out (through both layers so that you have 2 identical pieces. Instead of rub-ons you could use Staz On ink and an outline stamp, you could even stamp in craft ink and emboss the image using white, gold or silver EP.

2. Place a small amount of crystal effects in the center of acetate shape. Sprinkle on glitter, sandwich with the other piece of acetate.

Voila you're done!

I love any images that COULD be done flat, with a faux technique that
wouldn't cost extra postage, and add a nice embellishment to hand
deliver with a gift, very nicely done, TFS
