This is a great tutorial. I love the prisma colors but learning on my own I didn't think that a larger stump would make a difference. I'm going to try this technique of coloring everything first then blending. Thanks for sharing your technique!

That is a very nice tutorial. Those are stumps though....tortillons are different. They are spiral wound with one pointed end whereas stumps are more tightly compressed and have two ends. You have stumps pictured in your tutorial. Here is a picture of tortillons.
