Default Coaster Boxes

For these coaster boxes that everyone is making, what are you using them for afterward??

I showed my husband one I made at an upline meeting this weekend and he said "that's cute, now what do you use it for"? hahaha. Ideas ???

I made one that I used to put my covered candy in on my counter. Made another one and used it as a gift box.

I gave one as a gift box and have glue sticks and CE and random stamping stuff in another.

A pen holder for my desk will be next.

I'm planning on making one for my nail files, clippers, etc.

My DH actually requested one after he saw my valentine box. He is using it for pens/pencils on his desk. I sent another off as a gift filled with chocolate covered pretzels.

the way I make mine, I don't glue the bottom. On the bottom piece I punch two holes on either side of each corner and thread the ribbon up from underneath the box. This way I can make them for holidays and take them apart to store.

Default Coasters

I also don't glue the bottoms. I made one for the different holidays/seasons and put a plant in it to sit on my desk at work. I put the 4" plant in a thick zip lock baggie and then put both in the coaster box so the coaster won't get wet. Have had lots of oohs and aahs at work.

I made one for my mom to store her brushes/nail files etc in, and I made one for me to store all my (cheap) markers in that I use on my big calendar. Really I'm sure there's tons of things you can store in them (and they're cute, cheap and fun so really - who cares?? ;) ROFL!!!)
