Base of box...7 1/2"x12"
Top of box is 7 9/16"x3 1/16"

line base cardstock vertically and score at 1" & 6 1/2"
turn 1/4 turn and score at 5 1/2" & 6 1/2"
Cut into the 5 1/2 & 6 1/2" score lines up to the intersecting scores.
using One and Only tape...Tacky Tape...Red Line Tape...whatever floats your boat...seal it up...do all your stamping and decorating first of course.

score top carstock at 1" on all 4 sides and seal that up...that'll be the top of your box

This is a box that will stand the cards and envies upright...

being that I hadn't done this in a while...I thought I would give it a try to make sure it worked the way I said. I'll take pics of what I came up with today and have them up later if you're interested.

here's the box i made with stampnsk8r's directions.

nice generous size.....it looks a bit washed out here....i used the polka dot CB embossing folder for the lid.

the next one is one i fiddled and fiddled with.....4 4.25 in cards fit inside, but i fear the envies wont ! seems i cant attach two pix. so will do another post for the froggie box

Cute cute cute...great boxes. So glad I could help. If you're still in need of a box for 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 cards cut the base at 7 x 11 and lid at 7 1/16 x 3 1/16. Score base at 5 & 6 turn 1/4 turn and score at 1 & & 6. For the lid s ore 1" allthe way around. This will create a 5 x 5 box that will hold the cards and envies. Hope this helps. I never did finish the box I was making the other day. I'll have to do that and upload the pics.
