Happy Monday! It's my turn to host the TLC today. So many of us have had to make due with what we already have at home during this Pandemic. So I looked around to see what I had on hand and remembered how years ago, we did some stamping with rubber bands. I thought everyone would have access to them and it would be great to revisit that technique. So here is the challenge for today: Stamping with Rubber Bands
So very simple to do using either inks you have on hand or even some paint. To begin, you need a stamping block or something to wrap rubber bands around. Be sure to space them out so that when you stamp with them, you will create a pattern. Now ink up the bands and use them to stamp with. You can also use a brayer wrapped with rubber bands to create a totally different look as well. Whatever works the best for you as long as you use the bands as your stamp.
I hope you will come and play along with us. Be sure to add the keyword TLC801 to your card so it can be added to this gallery.
This is my card: Let's Celebrate (I used a rainbow of colours that reminded me of streamers in a parade. I thought it was perfect as Canada Day and the Fourth of July are right around the corner.)
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
I’ve just made 10 panels using this technique. So cool. Will be back later this week with a card using one..or maybe more lol. Such a fun technique. Happy day

Here is my card. I had originally bought this brayer that I could take off and put bands on, because my old one, you couldn't. But that was years ago, and I had never tried this! LOL https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2992687?&cat=500&ppuser=228885
Karen, What a fun challenge. I haven't done this in a long time. Here's my card.

Here’s my card. The photo doesn’t show the vibrancy of the colours as the light is poor here. Thanks for the challenge. I love this technique. Such fun. Happy day
