OK - I managed to do one using a sponge - but I did a fairly small area - it was just easier! I like how this one turned out!! Here it is (pending approval as of 12:50 CT)

I finally made it for a challenge!
This was more difficult than it seemed, because I am very clumsy with wet ink on glossy cs. I liked my first attempt better, but totally smeared the "congrats" all over it.

Hope you like it!

I love retro! and i've been doing this color combo so much lately - caribbean, celery and cocoa just seems so retro to me that i had to use it again on the challenge (and i'm on vacation so i get to play earlier than usual!)

This is a great technique! Will be demoing this very soon. Here's my first attempt...the Crosshatch smudged a bit, but I still like the effect.

Well, this was certainly a trial. First one ended up in the trash. Just decided that I was going to make this one work. I am not totally pleased with it, but decided I'd had enough frustration. So here's my

I did a couple of attempts but was NOT happy with either one. Any hints for positioning of the post-its?

Well, this was definitely a challenge for me, especially since I kept adding to it and probably should have stopped. I wish the gelly roll stardust pen would show up better in the scan. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the super fun technique challenge, Beth! I had a great time using my brayer (the first time getting past the "mess" factor of it...what can I say, I don't know how to be neat!). I concentrated all my effort on the background and then was completely dumbfounded by the finishing of it, but I am vowing to perfect this technique and make a whole bunch more stuff with it!

Very late today...computer is KAPUT! Anybody know what a "Delayed Write Failure" is and how to fix it? I wanted to try dropping it from the second story window (you know, to knock some sense in to it), but DH advised otherwise...

I wasn't so sure I was even going to get to do this, and then when I did, I sat and stared at the blue bg for so long, wasn't sure what I was going to do with it...but then I came up with this...and voila ~ I LOVE IT!

I've never used post it's before and I have a question. After you brayer one color, do you put the post it back on after it dries and take off some of the others to do the next color or do you brayer over the color you just did?
