First of all, I want to thank Lydia (UnderstandBlue) for her fab tutorial last week as we make "Everything Old (is) New Again" the first Monday of each month. Check out her Polished Stone update in TLC663 if you missed it! And second, I am posting a little early, as I have a commitment this evening, and may be out late! Gasp!
Today we are going to pull out our colored pencils! But -- maybe it will just be PENCIL (singular), as we are looking at designing cards using the PENCIL MONOCHROME tutorial by Dina. Her video is just wonderful, and gives some tips on making ONE pencil give several shades of color, as well as burnishing. You don't need fancy pencils for this - any colored pencil will work!
There is a special gallery (besides the TLC664) that you can upload your card:

Great challenge, Judy. It made me take out my colored pencils which I haven't used in a long, long time. Here's my card.

TLC664 Hello There by AnniePanda at Splitcoaststampers
This was the perfect time to try this pencil technique using just the one color, DD and I had a Journey Bloom Box come in yesterday so these birds were the perfect test subjects for me to play.
