This was a fun challenge. I have not felt like stamping for a long while so this was a pretty weak attempt. Thanks for looking...

Cut Out
This is my first day here, saw a post about this at Stampin' with Markie's Mom, and thought I would check it out.
I have joined the group and put a picture in my album, but I'm not sure how to tag it. I can't seem to post a link yet.
I'll get it figured out, I was just excited to make the card and share it.
Thanks so much for the great instructions.

Welcome Grace. I'm so happy you have joined us. When you upload your card here, there are a group of boxes where you can enter in information about your project, such as the stamps you used, paper, etc. There is also a box that is for Keywords...that is where you would enter in TLC247. Once you do it once or twice, you'll be totally comfortable playing along and tagging your projects. Now, I'm off to go take a look! =)

I started this card before leaving for work and finished it when I got home. I love this technique. I use it quite a bit. Here's my outside-the-nestie

Hi Lynn! I've always wondered how that was done with Nestabilities (knew how to do with Coluzzle and other see-through templates). THANKS for sharing this. Will have to wait to the weekend, but will try it for sure! Hope you're doing well. Karen

I was able to go an upload a card directly, and do everything I was supposed to do. Thanks for your warm welcome, and the great challenge. I look forward to trying many more things as I learn to navigate SCS.

Maybe you could cut around the overlapped area, and fold it under? You'd have a crease, but maybe you could hide it with an embellishment.

Great tutorial, Lynn -- I never thought to do it this way!
In February 2008 I created a tutorial on an easy way to do this technique with Spellbinders dies and the Tan Embossing Mat ... maybe it will help someone. You can find it
HERE .
