I was surfing my regular craft blogs and fell off my chair when I came to Wickedly Wonderful Creations blog. (http://wickedlywonderfulcreations.bl...d-shutter.html) It was all about the Tri-Shutter TLC challenge.

Wow, it took me a while to get to make this. But it was a lot of fun.
Thanks for the great tutorial. I'll be doing some more of them.

Here is my card for this challenge. I loved this challenge, and it turned out great. I did this as a Christmas card, because I am getting a head start on next Christmas, so I am not in a rush to get them done when there are so many other things that need to be done! Enjoy! Almost a week late, but I finally made the card tonight for my dad for Father's Day! I'm making my FIL one too, just have to work on it tomorrow. This will definitely be a favorite type of card to make, even though for me, it took a while!
I just wanted to say WOW at all of these lovely cards I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the entries and how different some of them can look, the internet is amazing to find that this tutorial was sparked off from the blog entry by Janice and she had found the tutorial from my web site:
craftsbycarolyn in the UK....which in turn had been donated by one of my forum members Scrappanic blog - I am sure that there are lots of versions out there - but nice to see that my site was noticed
I would love to share the links with you, but have not made enough posts
Fantastic - what a wonderful world of sharing

Mine ended up on tv yesterday morning! Our printshop was interviewed by the local station since dad's been in the printing business for 50 years. We'd made a display of all we do here, including the things on our blog.... Which included the tri-shutter card. The newsman told us that his viewership was over 50,000, as people get ready to watch the Today Show.
I have done two Tr-Shutters! I havent' tried too many Technique challenges, but when I saw these, I knew I had to try. It's been so hard to find time with a new challenge at work that takes all my time days and nights! To relieve the stress, I did take some time out to make these tri-shutters! I love this technique!
