I have mine made, just can't get it to stay together...grrr....Used a VERY heavy duty cardstock, and mono or even Scotch DS tape will not hold it. I am thinking I have to get some of that red tape. I have some SOMEwhere.
In the meantime, I am going to try to attach a couple of brads...maybe that will hold this one together..lol.
Mental note to self: Do NOT use the heaviest cardstock you own for this project...

that was easy...printer is downstairs, stamp room upstairs, wish I'd used a different color but wasn't sure what image I was going to use...so it's kinda plain... next time though ;)
Thank you Lynn for a fabulous challenge. However, I do not have a digital camera and it would hard to scan it in. BUT, I needed something for a swap next week and I'm gonna give this a shot!
We've got some really talented and clever ladies here because their samples are fabulous!

Hi. I'm home from school today for Presidents Day. I have been very busy working on my research paper. My mom and dad made me stop working today and made me play video games. I asked if I could make a box and my mom said yes.
that was easy...printer is downstairs, stamp room upstairs, wish I'd used a different color but wasn't sure what image I was going to use...so it's kinda plain... next time though ;)
This looks GREAT Lynn! Hope to play in a bit. My printer doesn't grab the cardstock right and always starts printing late....so it's at one end....lol
I'll try using my husband MAC and his printer to do this.
Samples are awesome girls!
I had trouble too so I printed it on computer paper then stapled it to a sheet or two of card stock and cut it out. It worked pretty well for me. Hope that helps for next time.;)

Here is my box....I left it empty for now....thanks for such a wonderful challenge, Lynne, and for your help earlier today with my other problem...
Lynn-
You always seem to come up with a variety of techniques or ideas! You are so creative. Every week, I check out what is going on, and wish I could play along. After some errands, I hope to get the chance to play today! Thanks for hosting!

Thanks! I dont have any...I had some crystal effects, but they rolled under my massive desk, and I am sure the warmth from the heat duct has petrified them by now...lol.
I need to order some more...thanks for the reminder...
I'm at work (oh boy, it's quiet today) - I get off in about 2 hours so I hope to make a few templates and put them together tonight even if I don't get to decorate them yet. I would love to make a few easter 'boxes'.
When I open the PDF, it is at 118%. I print it and the last two lines on the right and left don't fit on the page. Tried to print it on legal paper but it didnt work. Was everyone else's like that? When I changed it to 100%, the lines still werent there on the sides and it was just smaller. I think I will try and assume the lines (counted the dots and I think I am assuming right) are the edge of the paper. Will tape this onto cardstock tonight and try! What a great idea for Easter!
