This was fun Lynn. I should have used a darker color under my image. After redoing the image 3 times I figured it was time to be happy with what I had. Thanks so much for all your links and directions. It really helped alot.

It made NO sense to me at all UNTIL I watched the video. I now think i can do it! I thought BOTH images were to be in tissue paper.. Now I see only one.
Thanks Lynn off to try it.

I am truly humbled by all the cool art I've seen you do with this simple twist on faux silk. Honestly, I was getting ready to do a techniques class & wondered how it would look on a darker color cardstock.....and then how to make that dove look white.
It's probably easiest to attach the cut image with glue stick to the tissue & THEN glue it to the cardstock. The video is short - as all Stamper Dog's videos are. If you have trouble playing, there's a link to the less focused You Tube one.
Here's my card. This was really fun. I added my own twist to it, which was brayering from a spectrum pad before I added the "silk" to make it kind of tie-dyed looking. I also sewed on the tag shapes and used the Linen background stamp to keep the textile theme going.

Here is my card for this Challenge, it turned out very different than I expected, it is combined with the colour challenge.....tell me what you think, here it is:
