I don't have Copic markers so I watercolor more often that most I think. It's so beautiful and soft looking. I'll have to play when I get home from work!
BWHHAAAAA!! Love the title!!! Not too many reinkers here (one of those things that are on my "list" but I'll see if I can squeeze this in...have a lot of house cleaning to do before we leave for vacation....
Thanks Sherry for the early morning smile on the title either way!!
Oh fun!! I've just found my favorite thing to do is watercoloring with the aquapainters and inkpads. I'll have to take some time to do this!!
Thank you!
Great technique, Sherry! Thanks for choosing it. It's one of my faves and I do it all the time. I even have a tip for y'all. I bought some of those little round, divided plastic containers, like the ones they sell to keep medication in when you travel. They also sell them at Hobby Lobby over near the cross stitch stuff. I put a few drops of ink from the reinkers in each little compartment and write the color on top w/ a sharpie. Makes it convenient to use and all it takes is a little water to rejuvenate them when they dry.
I'll have to get busy making something for this challenge, but meanwhile, here's a couple of old examples if y'all want to look. Wine Friends and Autumn Leaves. TFL and I'll be sure to do a new one that I can link to this gallery.
Oh geez, for a moment there, I really thought this is going to be one very familiar challenge for me ... hitting the bottle...but then suddenly, I realized no such luck today! Thanks Sherry. see all y'all later.

Thanks Sherry, for the fun challenge. I usually use my colored pencils to color, so watercoloring is outside my comfort zone. I only have a yellow reinker, so I decided to do the smoosh technique. I know that stamping the pads on acetate isn't orignial with me, I just can't remember who I saw demonstrate it. I liked stamping on the acetate, because it was easier to blend on the acetate and then apply to the image. Here is what my pads on the acetate looked like.
This was such a different way for me to use this set, I ALWAYS stamp the frogs onto paper and cut them out. Thank you, it was good to be pushed out of my routine! And I'll try it again, I love the effect. Julie's Frog
thanks for filling in Sherry, I love using reinkers...there are so many fun techniques using them. In between taking kids to/from summer classes, laundry and baking bread, I hope to get this challenge done, thanks!

Thanks for filling in, Sherry! I was determined to do today's TLC, and watercoloring with re-inkers is a perfect technique for this rainy morning. Here's
I made this card a few weeks ago for Father's Day for my husband. Now that that's over with, I can post it on my website and here. Thank you for looking and have a great Monday!
PS: In about 5 minutes, I'll be posting new pictures of my studio after my purchases from Organize More! and what he's done for my space. I love it and am very happy!
Well, Sherry, this is a technique I used to use all the time. Then I got my watercolor crayons, and lately I've been playing with the markers. Great reason to get back into some old habits....in my case, they tend to be ruts. Thanks for a great technique challenge and glad to have you on board as our guest hostess!!
Here's my challenge card. It is a double challenge for today's TLC and for the Bible Verse Challenge. Reinker Coloring
