I made a ton of these at Christmas to hold hot chocolate packets. One thing I did to make it easier to add stuff was to cut the very top of the "handle" open. After it was filled, I folded over the handle about 1/8 to 1/4" and glued it back together. Does that make sense?

This is so cute, quick and easy! I do not have the tag punch (guess I will just have to get it now!) So I will improvise! Thanks and I love the gallery so far!
What a great challenge, Amanda! I was amazed at how easy this little pouch is to create. I used the large square envelope so I had to go in one and a half times with my punch. So fun!
I checked out your tutorial - this looks like a great project. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to play.

How sad....I don't have an SU tag punch....do you think another shape might work, like a square?
Do you have any tags from other things that you could use as a template? I have a whole bag of different size tags that I bought somewhere! Or, just cut with scissors. Improvise!
how perfect is this? I had someone PM me and I was gonna walk her through the steps and you have your tutorial all done...thanks Amanda! it looks awesome. Off to make some more, these are easy peasy and have a big WOW factor!

This is the first time I have done a challenge. This envelope pouch was fun to do.
I forgot to mention on my photo that I made little slits in the side of the envelope to thread the ribbon through.

Almost forgot to post my link! Oops! Better late than never...
Here's my quick little easter envelope pouch. Made mine to kinda 'match' my square easter card from last week's sketch challenge.
Anyone know what's happening to the gallery? My card was there with everyone else's and now it seems as though mine and a few others have just randomly disappeared? What's up with that!?!

I was wondering the same thing. I thought it was just me. :(
Hopefully if we be patient, it will work itself out.
