WooooooooooooooHooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! I did it!!!! Well, okay, I admit to having my dd help!! ;) This is such a beautiful fold and I WILL keep at it until I conquer!!! LOL
Thanks for a very fun and challenging challenge!!!
I haven't made a card but I did try the technique. I found it really easy to fold those first side pieces (after the folding in half part) if I scored a line with my dry embossing stylus. Makes it super easy. Just thought I would pass this tip on to others.
This was so much fun...thanks for sharing this website, and thanks for the challenge. This was my first technique challenge to participate in. Way, way cool! :p
I love these cards and I love the one I made, but I can't seem to upload photos!! I don't know what I"m doing wrong!?!

What a fun fold. Next time I will use a smaller flower. This size I think would be great on a scrapbook page. Next time I will not fold the second half so the lines will not be there. I was going to make a normal size card but as you see this flower is almost too big for my 6x6.

I'm truly hooked on these dahlia cards! Here's yet another one. I'm home from work today due to the weather. Ice, snow, blowing snow, wind chills in the negative teens... it's January in Michigan! But hey... I get a play day and I'm getting paid for it :-D

I finally got around to finishing this challenge. I combined it with today's sketch challenge. Paper folding is something that always intrigues me, so I really enjoyed this challenge! Here is my card:

Finally just getting a chance to try out this technique. Incorporated this weeks sketch challenge too....just couldn't get it to work with this weeks color challenge though. Here is my card:

I was blown away by this "technique" and the samples in the gallery are amazing. I'm hooked, this is my second challenge and I hope I'm getting the hang of it. Here's mine...
I haven't tried the TLC challenge for some time. The dahlia fold is fun! I'll definitely try it again, probably with smaller circles, though. Here's my first attempt:
