*jumping up and down* I did it, I did it! What fun... actually, the cracked glass was the easy part... figuring out how to make the rest of the card look decent was the difficulty! Anyway, here is my "Cracked Blessings".

I have liked this technique since I was first introduced to it (thanks Dawson) but I never use it, Thanks for the challenge to kick start me out of my comfort zone.

Thanks for the challenge today Beth. I use a technique like this, and then forget about it for a long time. My image cracked well, but the cracks didn't come through the surface so the ink didn't get into them when I swirled it over the image. Therefore, the cracks are harder to see. I like the result irl though.
Please take a look and let me know what you think:
This technique is so fun and I tried just using it on specific parts of my card. I see from the scan that the cracked canopy does't show up as well as I had hoped. Well, that's why we try something different, isn't it? Thanks for looking. TLC140 cracked canopy & skirt by Kheila Kirwan at Splitcoaststampers
Here is mine....more like shattered glass than cracked...but I think this was my second time doing this technique.....the freezer soooooo changed the way this technique worked for me compared to last time.

Spooktacularly Cracked!
I should be sleeping since I have to work tonight (7p-7a) but I had to check on this challenge before I went to bed, and then of course I HAD to do it! Fun even thought I ALWAYS make a mess when I do this technique! Thanks!
Will have to play after work. I love this technique! I just have to figure out what I want UNDER the cracked glass. Thanks for another great challenge ladies.

This is a new technique for me. My heat gun died yesterday in the middle of a project, now I will have another reason to go get one today) Thanks Beth.
Great challenge, thanks Beth. I will be sure to get to this one this week...love cracked glass! Cannot wait to take a look at the gallery for this one!
Ooh I am out of practice-the main image took me toooo long! LOL
Beth thank you for your hard work in the challenges-I do not always get to do them but they are always good and I love it when I can actually complete one (I start a lot, but often come up against a 10 month old detour, LOL).
