Can I just state one more time for the record how much I hate my camera? I won't do closeups...rrrrrrr!
This technique is so much fun! In fact, I can't believe I never uploaded pics of the several others I've done (prob due to that camera issue!). But here's a look at today's....
The tute doesn't say what size the circle is...help! I would think this is an important thing to know for this project....anyone?
I was thinking the same thing. There are a few steps missing. Read the comment section in the tutorial. I don't see any answers for all but there is a bit of help. I'm still confused.
Thanks, Beth for this week's challenge! I have been away for so long that I have not been able to do the challenges. I have so missed them. My goal is to do each one for this week!
I messed up on the dial thingy because it is sticking out too much, but I wanted to upload it anyway as I do not have time to do another one. Here is my card:
Thanks for a truly difficult challenge for me...I had a hard time thinking of what to do with the rest of the card after I decided on doing a flower in the window.
Oh, I was so excited about today's challenge... that is until I sat down and tried to follow the directions. After hours of reading, trying, wasting a ton of paper - In Colors - I have given up. Maybe my wheel was too big ~ there weren't any dimensions given ~ or maybe my window hole was off a little ~ top right corner could be just about anywhere ~ maybe it was that I couldn't figure out how in the tutorial it showed a little piece of blue behind the wheel and I was trying to put in an entire piece 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and lining up the two side partial holes ~ in any case, I've trashed the whole project!!! I must be the Villiage Idiot, because everyone else has obviously made wonderful, delightful cards with the same instructions. I'll try again next week!
Here's my first attempt with a View Finder. I don't know if it counts because I messed up somewhere and mine doesn't really turn. LOL! Well it spins out of the card and sometimes misses my circle.
Here is my card for today's challenge.. I needed to stamp today and what a great way to spend my day. Only took me about 6 hours to do... No motivation today what so ever. I do like how it turned out. TFL!!!
Fun and challenging...at least for me. Can you believe I've never done this before?! And I actually got it right on the 3rd try! Thanks for the great tutorial and all of the fabulous inspiration, ladies!
Well, here's my final outcome, after trashing tons of paper and getting very frustrated with this challenge. Thanks girls for all the encouragement. I kept the outside really simple because frankly I'm just tired of working on it!!
This was really fun! I actually hadn't tried this technique yet, even though I'm part of an online group with Kyla who did the tutorial!! I'm glad I did it!!
My 3 grandchildren, I love being a Grandma! My profile picture is a 5 generations picture with my granddaughter. I'm the one in the pink. lol (Back Right) Too fun.

This is my very first challenge. It was so much fun :p Here is a link to the card. This is the butterfly view, which is 1 of the 4 on this card. The other 3 I put in my gallery.
