My camera didn't take a very good picture. I'll have to check to see what the problem was. But here's my first attempt at a cut-out card. It looks better IRL.
I am not sure I did this right. My image is not very large, but it is attached. Plus, I used an oval instead of a square. The hard part for me was incorporating my new wintergreen dsp....which I felt I just had to use. Love this technique a lot.....my paper choice.....not so sure.
Love this technique. I'll be using it more. It took me a while to get started (very busy day) but once I did I was happy with the result. Hope you like it too. Here it is: TLC127 Friends by akronstamperdpk at Splitcoaststampers Thanks for another great challenge.
not a card, but still applied today's challenge to create a luminaria bag. Photo doesn't show the sky sponged on the bag and faded out the trees a bit. Looks better IRL, but during the event the darkness will probably fade those details as well.

Yahooooo, we finally have internet at our new place in Texas. I'm telling yah, 3 weeks with either being without or running to the public library (which has very little open hours) has been crazy. I'm a day behind but thanks for looking!
Ok here is mine. I like the way it came out, but I don't think I did it right. It's funny -- the magic slider card last week wasn't much of a prob. but this one I just couldn't grasp. lol! I'll have to try again later.
Here's mine, Beth. Hope you like it! This was a really hard challenge for me until I dusted off my Coluzzle and gave it a try; then it was very easy. I highly recommend using the Coluzzle for this technique. As I dry embossed my image; please let me know if this disqualifies me from the challenge so I can remove my card from the gallery. Thanks! I did another card and realized that it would qualify for this challenge. No one will probably see it because I am posting so late, but here it is anyway. Did this one for my cousins wedding too.
Ok, here's my first attempt at one of these. I'm not totally pleased with it but plan on trying it again another time. Thanks for looking. TLC127 by Iluvcards at Splitcoaststampers
sorry for the blurry pic, but i couldn't wait for the scanner any longer! i'm hoping my new digital camera will be here soon, then i can replace the blurred pic with a much better one!
