I'm late, too.Just can't seem to get a handle on when the "on time" cards
are posted for these challenges! But here's mine anyway! I also used Beate's
weekend challenge for this and cased Rox's idea for using the Cuttlebug after the stripes are glued together. Happy Birthday by Memere2*2 at Splitcoaststampers
Okay I only used one strip, I confess! Hope you like it anyway, I'm not happy iwth the way this card scanned, but after trying it 3 times this is the best one I got!

I love summery treats like popsicles, so this stamp set was just right for today's card. I also thought this was a good card for Try a New Technique Challenge #124- Scrappy Stripes, as this DP has wonderfully uneven stripes of paper. Just to give you a clue, I used a metal arrow with a silver brad to point to "cool", and I finished with a black curly Q paper clip as this is a whimsical card.
