You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: B - I - N - G - O !! Whooooeeee!! Silly Sue and Lively Lou love them some game day fun. Board games of all kinds are so much fun they can spend hours playing games and drinking tea. And of course gossiping and occasionally some good natured teasing. And then sometimes an argument breaks out. Like the time Lively Lou pointed out that Silly Sue couldn't climb the ladder and then continue counting her move, she had to actually land on the ladder base. OOOHHHHeeeeeee!!! That tiff lasted for days and days.
2: Well, now these two have gotten into a game of Monopoly that may get entered into Ripley's believe it or not for how long it is lasting. They seem to keep having differing opinions on the Jail time, and what properties you have to have before you can erect houses. They each claim to have read the rules "for years" and "know what they are talking about" but they still have different opinions on what the meaning of them are. This could become monumental.
3: It's now going on week 2 of this same game and Silly Sue is far enough ahead that she could graciously give in to Lively Lou's point on jail time but both are determined they are right and aren't about to give in. Oh my, the manager of the Bistro area in the retirement village may have to step in and declare a "null and void" to this game, in order to have this table back in service again as of course, they won't allow anyone to touch the game and put it up until they are finished and you know hair appointments and lunch and happy hour can't be missed. So the game sits there unfinished day after day.
4: Now, each of them has also collected their own set of groupies that are taking bets on the sidelines as to which of them is going to give in or when Lively Lou is going to get out of jail. So this then takes up even more room in the Bistro and when the girls are "in house" it has become quite loud. But, at least they are buying coffees and lattes and lots of cookies and muffins while they are at it.
5: However, when Lively Lou threatened to overturn the board and call it quits, things got a little scary for awhile. Finally the manager enacted a new rule that games could only go on for 1 day. Well, that of course started Silly Sue and Lively Lou arguing about whether that was from sun-up to sun-down or if it was 24 hrs of play. "WHAAAHTTT!!!!! The manager can't believe these two hard headed ladies. He was about to smash his fist down on the board and disrupt the whole thing himself.
6: RUT ROH!!!! peaceful solutions needed.....or some more of that spechul (hic) tea might calm things down a bit....
