Oh No, Not So Fast; What Was That We Just Zoomed Past?
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! The Rest of the Story:
1: Do you ever plan so much to do and so many things to see on a vacation that you can't possibly do them all in the time you have? Yeah, I've done that too. Well, seems like Dougy DooRite has the same problem. He's off to visit the 8th largest city in the USA and his list of things to do and places to go has gotten so long, that he may just have to move in somewhere for awhile.
2: You know you can't miss the San Diego Zoo but that will take up most of a day, then there's Sea World, and LegoLand is a mus as well. Then there is the Natural History Museum and the USS Midway Museum, surfing lessons, whale watching, swimming with the dolphins, the San Diego Padres, enough breweries to take several days touring them all, and then of course the eateries. Little Italy is a must for one night, then a evening bay dinner cruise is said to be something you shouldn't miss. Then on top of all of that, there is the natural scenic beauty of the area.
3: How on earth is Dougy going to fit all of this in? A-HA!! He has a brainstorm, he will rent a motorbike and a Segway and zip around to all of the places on his list and point and click his camera so when he has time, he can sit back and see what all he zoomed past. Yes, he thinks this idea has serious merit. He doesn't want to miss anything and he surely can't go back home to tell Great Aunt Margaret that he didn't see the USS Midway because Great Uncle Homer served on that ship. And he can't tell the neighbor who is from there that he didn't get to the bay and grab some salt water taffy that his elderly mother would love to taste again.
4: AARGH!! this is looking to be a whirlwind trip for sure. So on the first day there, Dougy heads off on his rented motorbike and zooms past the first dozen things on the list. But, RUT ROH.....his memory card is full and he didn't get pictures of any but the first 2 things on his list.
Challenge Translation:
Manly cards with oceans, surf, lighthouses, beaches, or anything else you can think of to bring a bit of San Diego scenery inside to brighten the place up.
