MMTPT419~Aug 2, 2016~It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Welcome to TEapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty
and Challenge #419
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Christmas in July is a popular theme for craft shows around the states and here is no exception. May seem silly or materialistic to some, but to us crafters, it is a great time to get ideas so we can get started and not be crafting at the last minute....well, that's my goal anyways, I'm usually still there at the last minute. So how about a little music to get you in the Christmas Spirit:
Challenge Translation:
Christmas cards are needed. Christmas is just around the corner, lets get the Christmas card stash started for Angela. Please add your note of support on separate piece of paper so she can resend the card.
Destination Station:
This week our cards are going to CT. If you would like a destination for your cards this week, how about sending it to Angela. AKA arizona maine She was brought to our attention by Ann Annsforte3
to find out why as well as get the address to mail your card, please visit post 525in the Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is totally 100% voluntary!
here is a quick link to MMTPT419 challenge gallery
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT419 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Send her a pm with your email address if you wanna be a Cheater!
If you are confused about these challenges, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges.
Thanks Ann for bringing this to our attention..I had no idea about Angela and everything that is going on with her. I do know that she makes the most beautiful Christmas cards...she likes to use a lot of white cardstock so that's what I went with and also tried to make my designs CAS which is her trademark. I made two cards for her Christmas stash..
I as wsell had no idea she was going through such a hard time. Perfect idea to pray and think of her and help her out. Hope James can bring smiles. Here is James and his Tree for Angela.

So sorry to hear of Angela's loss and illness. Here's one for her, Angela's Christmas Card. I'm sure some more of the DTGD challenges will work for Christmas cards.
"There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays" even if you are in the Dog House. I will send a note with this card for Angela. I won't sign it, so that she can pass it on. So Happy to be able to participate again.
I have been caught up in the frenzy of the DTGD challenge - got all 42 challenges completed, including some for Christmas. I will add the key word and get mine off for Angela.
