The Rest of the Story:
1: How many of y'all remember them CB radios?......They were the hottest thing going when I was growning up in the boonies and some brainiac hadn't invented cell phones yet. Well, we could sit out in the driveway and keep up with all the latest chatter, where the best burgers were, where the pigs were and a few other things teen-age girls shouldn't be knowin about....But it sure was fun.
2: And there isn't a much finer group of people when you need help than truckers. Well, that's who we're trying to round up this week. We need trucks; big 18 wheelers and little bitty tonka trucks. We need cars; race cars, slow cars, or even jazzed up cars with those fancy hydraulics. We need any and all that you can round up. We need them all headed down the New Jersey pike (not during rush hour tho-that would be a disaster) and into town to raise the spirits of a special little one.
3: So dust off your CB, or just turn on your cell; however you get hold of them is fine with us....just do it. We want a regular ol' convoy headed into town to say Howdy and hope you have a great day. How much fun would that be to see all these truckers, racers and some just seriously fun people driving by and waving.....More fun than most 6 yr olds can brag about, that's for sure. So teapotters, call out all your trucker buddies and get them headed in the right direction. We have a couple teapotters that live in that area; I'm sure they won't mind 42,000 of us stopping by for tea and cookies.....Right Marie?......
Challenge Translation:
Fun, happy, bright and able to bring big smiles is the way we are going this week. No gloomy Gus, pumpkins or anything the least bit Halloweenie scary cuz the back door is a loooooooong walk around the corner.
