Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!

Translation: Bring cards for kids, birthday cards, happy thinking of you cards, funny cards - but leave them blank inside.
EPEC (Extra Points for Extra Cookies): Send a card or add a note to Chris. EPEC x2 if you add a joke or something funny in your note to Chris.
Destination Station: This week our tea party is for Chris, 11 year old son of Sue, our own coffeestamper. Christopher is going through a tough time himself but doesnt want cards for himself he wants to give to others.

Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Send her a pm with your email address if you wanna be a Cheater!

Thanks soo much for helping Chris bring cards to the hospital and if your cards dont make it for this treatment we will be going again and will bring them the next time. They were soo appreciative with the last bunch but it has been two years and probably are running out~ Thanks again for all of you that make cards...Chris is in alot of pain with his spine and is doing physical therapy to help strengthen his core and will be examined by the back doctor again in August to see what is his next step whether a back brace or operating to take bone from his hip to add to spine. Please say an extra prayer for my son who has been through soo much in the last two years~hugs to all

I got two made: MMTPT297 Cool Dude Birthday MMTPT297 Bear At Play
and added an extra one with a note inside for Chris - but that one is also blank inside so he can use that one too if he wishes.
Amazingly (for me) they're already in the mail so I hope they'll arrive in time, but I did reckon that, unfortunately, there's always another time if they're too late for this hospital trip.
Oh - and I meant to say, how cool to see the Big Yellow Teapot as our teapot this week.
DH (and me, in fact, but I didn't really deal with the toys) used to work for the agency that distributed that brand here. I don't have a Big Yellow Teapot but I have two other great toys from the same company, which I snagged from the showroom ;-) once they were no longer being distributed.
The inventor had a dream about the teapot, and that's how his whole company started!! Polly Pocket was another big seller from him!
Sue, I will definitely keep Chris in my thoughts. I've gone through my stash of swap cards and found several that are good for kids; I'll get the packet to you asap.

Didn't get to play, had to clean some very dirty and oh so heavy filters. Hope I am able to move tomorrow. hehe DD helped me a lot, thank goodness. I might sneak in later this week. Hugs! :0)

Here is my quick easy to make card. I hope some little girl will get a lift out of it. It is so hard to see children in hospital so I am very glad we can do something that says we care.

Sue, this card and any others I can find in my collection that might work will be in today's mail. I hope they arrive in time for Chris to take them to Albany Med next week.

God bless to all of the teapotters that took time out to make cards for his mission and he has a shoe box all ready for the cards as they trickle in to our mailbox~ Chris is in pain right now in his spine area of T11 and is going to physical therapy to help strengthen his core. I know some people pm me and email me to tell me that they would be making and sending cards and I also thank you for helping with Christophers mission to help others~

This card is meant for an older child. I think Chris will get the analogy. I just loved this stamp and I loved the sentiment, so I put them together.
Like I said in my description, this would probably work for a birthday card to a good friend or a thank you card. And I had a lot of fun piling on the crazy colors. Hope it's appropriate for the purpose! Not a super picture, but I wanted to get it photographed and in the mail today.

Went to the mailbox today and found many teapot cards, Chris is going to be so excited when he gets off the school bus today~ Thank you for sending cards to Chris also and words of encouragement for him and our family~God bless the teapotters~

Great news for Chris no sign of any regrowth of the tumor in his brain. however, he still has the back pain and is doing PT. We are seeing the doctor on May 14th to discuss the MRI and to see when he will go for his next MRI. We will be delivering all of the cards then we were missing over half of them so Chris wanted to wait and have a full box to bring. We received a couple of pm's with more cards on its way~ I am sure they will get here before we go on May 14th and anyone else that may want to send can still do so~ The pediatric unit where Chris was in the hospital goes to age 18 and whatever cards are not fitting for the pediatric unit they will send to other floors I was told~Thanks again for all of you that took time out to help with Christopher's mission to give cards to others~Hugs to all of you!
