Welcome to Teapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty
and Challenge #282
It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Got your stockings up? The mistletoe hung? The cookies baked? The carols playing? I certainly hope so cuz it's now time to P-A-R-T-Y!! The bells are ringing, the sleighs are rolling along, (do sleighs roll?), you get the idea. All across the country people are celebrating with family and friends. The halls are decked out in holiday colors and the post office is busy delivering greetings to those near and far.
2: Way, way, way back; when they were first married, the folks on Evans Rd. started collecting angels in any form. The Master of the house would spend hours and hours looking for the right angel to gift the Mrs. with that year. And cards would come from all over with angels in gold, and silver, and wood and anything else you can imagine. The Mr. also started getting the Mrs. a Christmas card every day of the month just to see her face light up. She loved the Christmas holiday so much.
3: The Mr. can't do this anymore and so many other lovely folks have been plotting and plotting and planning on showering the Mrs. with cards every day until Christmas. UNTIL...Christmas.....Wait a minute.....what about after Christmas....there's still month left....and in the words of the famous Mudder....let's keep this party goin all month.......that's right....this party doesn't stop till we run out of month....
Challenge Translation:
Bring Christmas goodies, ribbon, angels, stockings, even the jolly man himself. Just don't let the party stop.
EPEC- extra points for extra cookies:
Extra cookies to everyone who shares a wonderful story of Christmas past. Tis the season to brighten hearts and celebrate memories of friends and family.
