WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #167
Jeremiah Jumbaliah! What's It Gonna Be? Wannabe Referee or Traditional Fam-i-lee? Soon We All Shall See!!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
This is my story!
1. Don't cha just hate it when you don't have enough hands to carry something so you put it in your mouth to carry it and you accidently swallow it? I hate when that happens! That recently happened to Jeremiah Jumbaliah ~ Whistle Mouth Rainbow Trout ~ Wannabe Referee! That's Jerry for short, JJ for shorter! JJ is kind of a daredevil. He loves to hang out near the water's edge just under the long grass hidden in the shallow water. From there he just listens from the bank and his favorite thing to listen to is a couple of fisherman that come to the lake quite often and talk about their experiences at sporting events. Yah, they bring all that silly fisherman stuff that is supposed to nab a fish (doesn't happen much) but they wear whistles around their necks and the coolest black and white striped shirts! It's fun listening to them talk about how they control the game, call the shots, and penalize those who don't play by the rules! Its fascinating! It's inspiring! It's changed JJ's life!
2. One day those two were so bored since nuthin' was biting that so they started playing catch! One missed the football and it ended up right next to JJ in the lake! What luck! JJ knew he had to seize the moment! Quick as lightening, he was upon it! But he didn't have enough hands to carry it so he just put it in his mouth and swam off! That is when his life changed! He accidently swallowed it! His once beautiful rainbow trout horizontal stripes were stretched so tight they flip flopped, went verticle and mysteriously turned black and white! Hey, look at me! I'm a Referee! It's What is Meant To Be! I am not as skinny as I once was, but I kinda like this shape, it's buff, macho, and beefy!
3. This whole deal is tearing the Jumbaliah Family School apart! The Jumbaliah's will never be the same! Sheremiah Jumbaliah, (Sherry for short, SJ for more short!), Laremiah Jumbaliah (Larry for short, LJ for shorter!) and Terremiah Jumbaliah (Terry for short, TJ for the shortest!) are not seeing eye to eye! When LJ happened upon a football and swallowed it up just like his brother JJ, it was time to jump on board the Referee Wagon! They are in control, they call the shots, they are penalizing their fellow fish for swimming in the wrong direction, spiking the red and white bobber, and a most serious offense, roughin' the fisher! Sometimes it gets ugly! JJ and his perfect for whistlin' lips have taught LJ a thing or two about whistling and this thing has gotten outa hand! SJ and TJ just want their siblings to act like the fish their family school has always strived to be! Its embarrassing, outrageous, and just plain silly the way they are carrying on these days! Just look at em! Black and White Horizontal Stripes! It's a disgrace to the Jumbaliah Family School of Fish!
4. A family meeting will be held and a family vote is in order! 42,000 brothers, sisters, moms and dads, cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents all must cast their vote! Old School of Fish (horizontal stripes in traditional colors) versus New School of Fish (verticle stripes in black and white!) Since the majority of the Jumbaliah School of Fish can't count and swim at the same time, the only way to settle this thing is show up to the meeting wearing what you vote. Verticle black and white to vote New School! Horizontal traditional colors to vote Old School! Jeremiah Jumbaliah! What's it gonna be? Wannabe Referee or Traditional Fam-i-lee? Soon we all shall see!
Wear your best black and white verticle stripes! Bring your big lips and whistles and be ready to penalize some offenders! Or if you don't like penalizing people, bring your best traditional horizontal rainbow stripes. Shh..don't tell the Jumbaliah's about this, but I think she should bring some fishing equipment! Tackle boxes, fish strings, red and white bobber thingies, a worm or two, some little red round fish egg thingies, some fishin' poles and maybe a boat! All these fish in the vacinity might result in some phenominal fishing! Whoot!

DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is Fairport, Ohio. If you would like a destination for your card this week, how about sending it Chip. Chip is the husband of fellow teapotter Karen
(Redbugdriver). Chip's situation was brought to my attention by one of Karen's best SCS buddies, Pam
(bailmac). Chip recently had two surgeries on a foot that have given him problems for a long, long time. The second surgery resulted in a partial amputation.
For more information on Chip's situation as well as the address to mail your card, please visit
Post #250 in the Destination Station thread. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is totally 100% voluntary!
Here is
my card.
Here is the
awesome card that Pam (bailmac) made for Chip.
