MMTPT 380 ~November 10, 2015~ Annabella Your Kindness was Couched in Some Blindness!
Welcome to Teapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty
and Challenge #380
Annabella, Your Kindness was Couched in Some Blindness
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
This is my story!
1. Annabella wasn't an easy toddler. When her mom needed to put her in her play yard to clean up a bit or take a shower Annabella would strike a fit, banging her head against the sides until she was released. She grew, however to become the sweetest little girl in Teapotterville. She was precocious in her ability to empathize with others and could feel when someone was sad and needed a bit of cheering up.
2. Annabella loved animals too. Her favorite outing was to the dog park to watch the pooches play. When her parents decided that she was old enough, they let Annabella get a dog and a cat. She was such a good caretaker, filling food bowls, walking her dog, and even emptying the litter box (most days!)
3. For her birthday, her parents surprised Annabella with a trip to the Big City zoo. Annabella giggled at the antics of the monkeys and the size of the capibaras. She stood in awe at the enormity of the elephants and giraffes and the majesty of the lions. She wanted to cuddle the kangaroos and koalas...but inside was a little sad for them all. Deep inside she remembered feeling trapped in her own cage and couldn't imagine what it was like never to get out.
4. Annabella saw a zookeeper and managed to relieve him of his keys. One by one Annabella release all 42,000 of the animals from their pens...the gentle and fluffy and the gigantic and ferocious. The zoo patrons ran screaming for the gates and the zookeepers were running about, trying to keep predator from prey. What a mess! Annabella your kindness was crouched in some blindness! It's no longer safe here - we need to escape, Dear!
5. Well I guess you've figured out that this is where we come in, Teapotters! Get out your lariats and muck boots and help us to round up all of these critters and restore order to this place!
Here is a little musical inspiration for you:
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:
Bring a card with animals of any species - horses to hares, aardvarks to zebras.
EPEC ~ (EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA COOKIES!)
Bring an animal in a peaceful scene. We don't want those wildebeests getting too wild! Just don't bring any cages for Annabelle to jimmy open or it's the back door for you!
DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is Auckland, NZ. If you don't have a destination for your card, how about Tom? Tom is the dad of our kind-as Annabella Teapotter Kim aka Crazy Kim. Her dad has been in the hospital for over a month now and needs some Teapotter love!
To find out why as well as get the address to mail your card, please visit post #488in the Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is totally 100% voluntary!
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT380 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Send her a pm with your email address if you wanna be a Cheater!
If you are confused about these challenges, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges.

Marie, you certainly know how to tell a great story. So sorry to hear about Kim's dad. I would gladly make a card to send along, but I'm on a new laptop and haven't received my microsoft office software yet, so I am unable to download any cards.
