Old MacStamper Had a Farm
Old MacStamper had a farm, oh indeed he did. And with a moo, moo here, a quack quack there and all the baas and all the oinks, oh what a din, oh what a cacophony. Pass the earplugs, please!
No wonder they�re so noisy � they�re all so hungry; and when they see Old MacStamper coming along they�re hoping he has some food for them, (and we all know that the loudest ones get the most attention!).
Old MacStamper is hoping he has enough food for them, too! I know that over here, with a bad summer last year and a long hard winter, the farmers have been struggling to find enough feed to see them through till the grass is growing again, and I believe it�s the same in parts of the States too. Even for those who can afford to buy it in, it�s still hard to find. When I was doing some research for this, I even read of an Iowa farmer who had developed a sawdust based feed.
We can help Old MacStamper! Teapotters to the rescue again!!
Challenge Translation:
Don�t bring along too many farm animals � a couple of Curt�s cousins or a ewe or two is fine but don�t bring a whole herd or flock of anything because we surely don�t have enough to feed that many. But to really help out, we also need to bring something for the animals to eat. Long, lush luxurious grass, a rolling prairie, a bale of hay, some maize, some marigolds, swedes or turnips, some carrots for a tasty snack�I think, girls, that we'll pass on the sawdust, though!
* STOP PRESS!! I've just got back from a holiday in Greece, and I read that the farmers there sometimes use prickly pears as extra cattle feed, once they burn the prickles off. So if anybody had a prickly pear for MMTPT240, please feel free to use it again ;) .

If you ever want to look in any gallery and you can't find a posted, direct link in the thread, just go to the "Gallery" tab on the top right of any page, then on the left side under "Search" type in the challenge code, for example MMTPT252, hit "go" and it should come right up. Also, if you're looking for a particular item or subject, you can search the galleries for it there, as well. There are other ways but I think this is the easiest and quickest.
