Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts."
-As You Like It
Are you familiar with that Shakespeare quote? I’m sure this week’s recipient is. Annie was a very successful theater director for several decades. She has also been involved in choral activities throughout her life. Her choir group sang at the 1st year memorial service for a 911 plane crash site.
Unfortunately, she had a stroke that's changed her life forever. She’s lost almost all mobility. Annie is in her 70’s, has a lot of kids and grandkids and loves dogs.
Challenge: Let’s work a theater/music angle into our cards this week. Think of a play or musical that you’ve enjoyed and illustrate it or make a reference to it. Or play up a musical theme with a keyboard or musical instruments.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Caring Thoughts, Hugs, Sunshine, Hello

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected].
Thank you Polly for hosting this challenge, I've created a little theater for Annie and I hope she'll like it, there's a close-up from the inside in the thumbnails, and here's my card: My Little Theater

One of my favorite musicals is The Sound of Music, so here is my interpretation for Annie: The Hills Are Alive...

My card for Annie was returned to me by the Post Office today--yellow label says "Insufficient Address - Unable to Forward". I copied and pasted what Polly has in the first post onto the mailing label that I affixed to the envelope. Any suggestions, or updated address?

So weird, Liz. MaryJo had a card returned recently from a different tea party and it appeared to be addressed correctly also. The suggestion was to resend it. I know I have had mail returned in the past that was correct and when I resent it went through. But you may want to wait a day or two to see if anyone else has updated info. Hugs.
