It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: card crazy / Denise
CHALLENGE: I realize I signed up for a January challenge, but since it’s so close to Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be fun to send Valentine cards to each other.
Valentine’s day is the second most popular day or the year for sending cards, after Christmas. In 1849, Esther A. Howland of Worcester, Massachusetts began selling the first mass-produced valentines in America. Howland, known as the “Mother of the Valentine,” made elaborate creations with real lace, ribbons and colorful pictures known as “scrap.”
Let’s see your lace or ribbons or colorful pictures on your Valentine’s card. Enjoy!
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREADin the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 3rd Feb 2024. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Send your request to jennifrann via PM or e-mail [mail][email protected][/mail]Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I have to run to work now - but will catch up on comments once I get home. Only 30 days until retirement - YAY!!!

I love this challenge so much, as my family just went to Worcester (pronounced like rooster with a w we found out). It was the middle point between NYC and New Jersey where we are both from.

I didn't need to address the envelope and used it as an opportunity to add a GALENTINES day design to the envelope so she could enjoy that for a few days before opening it for her birthday card inside....since we were meeting that week.
I sure enjoyed making 'this girl thing' : ) hope you enjoy browsing it!
