Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT807 What’s Old is New
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: jacqueline/Jacqueline
Welcome to my first challenge of the new year! We have various sources for collecting teaparty recipients. This week’s recipient comes from a Facebook post that Jennifer came across. The request was for birthday cards for a young woman, Celia, whose 18th birthday is actually today. Celia’s parents are out of town due to her father’s (Jay) scheduled open heart surgery and will miss her birthday. Because of the timing, birthday cards wouldn’t have arrived in time so instead, we thought we’d send well wishes to Jay while he recovers. Feel free; however, to send a belated birthday card to Celia if you'd like.
CHALLENGE: Represent old and new…father/daughter, Jay's old/new heart, Celia's birthday - old/new year...by choosing a card from your gallery and giving it a refresh. CASE yourself but include something new on your card to update it.

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT807 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jen via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I sent one from my stash to Celia as soon as I could hoping it would get to her today.
This family was actually nominated by Molly Trahan - daughter of the Trahans from MMTPT746. The couple who had a house fire in late 2022. The Teapotters have a lot of fans, but Molly might be your biggest fan. She also let me know that her parents were finally able to move back into their house last week!
I seldom 'complete a challenge' but I was able to do it on these. I added balloons to the leaping frogs, and to the turtle, I set him up in a ballon flying high in the sky:
Here's mine going to Celia. I would have liked to use an elephant card and print a sentiment about not forgetting, just being late. But time isn't on my side, I needed a quick card. MMTPT807 Feathers by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
Finally got a card done! Here are some Crazy Birds hanging in there for Jay!
