Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT801 FINDING DIRECTION
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: jkanack, Jean.
Welcome to the November tickle challenge.
In July, I moved from SE Wisconsin to the western side of Wisconsin, right on the Mississippi River. Since I have lived near Milwaukee my whole 71 years, it has been an adjustment and there have been times when I have felt like I didn't know where I belonged. Fortunately I have been visiting here since my daughter started college so I have some familiarity but it is still a bit jarring. LaCrosse is a city packed between the river and the bluffs. I have to use GPS to find anything and often the GPS is wrong. One way streets, lots of angles, parking is a nightmare. I can't parallel park to save my life. In September, I did some traveling and when I returned, I was so confused.
So I would like to see compasses or arrows or something that shows direction. This is not about travel though, unless you are showing something about direction to a particular place. Maps are fine as long as there is something about direction connected to them. I love maps. Have fun!
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday2nd December 2023. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Send your request to jennifrann via PM or e-mail [mail][email protected][/mail]Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Thanks for a fun challenge Jean. As one who grew up with a daily view of the Mississippi River from my front yard, I think you'll discover how wonderful it is. It certainly has a special draw to those of us who live near it.
I'm finding everyone's interpretations of this challenge quite interesting...some of you going in 'directions' I wouldn't have thought of. I appreciate all your creativity!

I'm so far behind. LOL Thanksgiving through me for a loop and I sat day dreaming for 4 days. Ok so here is my card for the tickle. You are coming to my house for the week, you are going south.
I think you all had your thinking caps on this week, finding 'direction' to do my challenge. Thank you, all. I'm returning to my hometown shortly for a few days to visit friends and my son. I hope I can find my way back to my new home.
