Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: jacqueline / Jacqueline
CHALLENGE: I'm your hostess this week but I'm also the tea party requestor. I'd love for you to help celebrate my dad's upcoming 80th birthday (April 19). Thankfully, he's relatively healthy and somewhat active so hopefully, he's got many more years ahead. People turning 80 are often referred to as octogenarians so as a nod to this reference, include octagons (or hexagons if they're easier to come by) and/or the number 80 in your card design.
My dad, Dennis, is a TV junkie - he loves getting comfortable in his recliner and watching police dramas, FOX news, and golf in particular. He also likes cars, napping, playing darts, whiskey, and his favorite color is blue. He likes to read (police/detective stories) too. Thank you for helping make this a birthday to remember.

Hello, glanced at the gallery and cute cards for Dennis, I made a card and sent on to Dennis but not uploaded. Been so very busy as had new roof put on due to the wind storm 3 weeks ago tore off shingles, then ceiling was leaking from roof and had to have someone come in to fix and then they said had seeped into the walls in places so had to have walls patched along with ceilings and then all was painted---so hopeful all is back to normal for next weeks cheater---- crossing eyes, fingers and toes---LOL
Thank you all for making & sending cards for my Dad's 80th birthday. As you can see, he's enjoying them. There are more on another table - they ran out of room on the mantle. The day I was at the house another pile arrived in the mail. He was really surprised with his teaparty and has enjoyed reading through all your cards. It truly made his birthday extra special. Y'all ROCK!
