It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: sue28/Sue
CHALLENGE:
Princess Diana died on this day in 1997 so our Tea Party is to honour her.
(Sabrina's note - Sue proposed a lovely photo of Diana from her Australia tour, but I can't include a copyright image here.

I was married the same year as Princess Diana and Prince Charles and was working then in an office building, right near the Opera House. We all raced downstairs to see them when their cavalcade came down Macquarie Street and around the loop road at the Opera House. I remember it was a beautiful sunny day and there was such an air of excitement.
Ideas could be her sense of fashion, her love for flowers, in particular Forget Me Nots, her love of children...
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 4th SEP 2021. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Taking a quick peek at the gallery. I'll be along to comment tomorrow, as we're visiting friends this evening and I took a nap after work. It looks as if forget-me-nots are proving popular . Thanks for a fun challenge, Sue, with all sorts of possibilities.
My sister was a huge fan of Princess Di - they were born two weeks apart and they both had boys. She would ask me to buy American magazines that feature Diana and I'd send it to her in the Philippines. She was shocked and devastated when she died - what a tragedy... Thanks for an interesting challenge, Sue and Sabrina! Here is my card: MMTPT684 - Flowers on Gingham by Gem35 at Splitcoaststampers
Finally had time to create and this will go out in the mail tomorrow! I remember where I was when the news was broadcast Princess Diana had died- was at work in the Surgical ICU- and a patient had the news on....we were all in shock!
I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal with some newer and some older challenge entries.
In honor Princess Diana's death, August 31, 1997k: She loved flowers...I've added Poppies...the purple Mona Lisa poppy...as they are one of the birth flowers for August (my birth month but the month of her death).
