It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge.
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: pvilbaum, Pat.
CHALLENGE:
Since we moved out to the country and on the lake, I have really been enjoying watching the birds we have around us. Over the winter I looked out to see 24 large white pelicans on the lake, also about 100 Coots. We have woodpeckers in our trees quite regularly as well as bluebirds, cardinals and eastern Jays . Of course there are tons of sparrows. I have had to get my bird book out a few times to identify ones that I’m not sure of.
Now that summer is here the Hummingbirds are back. I am having to refill their feeder every other day now. I counted 8 on the feeder yesterday and about another 10 hovering around waiting for someone to leave. I think it’s time for another feeder.
It is such a relaxing pastime, so I challenge you to use one or more Birds on your card!
EPEC (extra points for extra cookies: give the bird a branch to light on or a home.
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the Teapot Tuesday Extras Forum. (In case links break again, it's in Teapot Tuesday Extras, the only one with a green arrow beside it.) If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 29th May 2021. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Here's my bird card..I love all the birds in my area...cardinals in the winter and summer, chickadees, blue jays, and I'm waiting for the humingbirds to find my feeders. Last year I had them coming to my single feeder attached to my kitchen sliding door..I could stand just inches away and watch them.
Thanks for the challenge, Pat! I so rarely think to use birds on my cards (maybe because I am plagued by crows and pigeons here) - My country birds just flew in from the Tropics!
Feathers, birds and leaves...my three favorite things!
Gallery looks funny....not haha funny.
I think it looks HORRIBLE! I thought I'd accidentally gone into the mobile version this morning when I went to check if Pat's card was there to link in the first post.

But I promise, I will be along tomorrow after work with a crested titmouse. We were thrilled to see a pair of bullfinches on one of our feeders this evening. We regularly get blue, coal and great tits, robins, starlings, blackbirds, sparrows and dunnocks. In the cold winter we also had blackcaps for the first time in a long time.

Fun challenge Pat. We enjoy watching the birds, too. The hummingbirds have just reappeared here. I ended up making two cards that are similar, to sure which one I'll send out for the Tickle. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3040522?&cat=500&ppuser=165893 MMTPT670 Bird on vine by stampingwriter at Splitcoaststampers
I was finally able to get a card done for this week’s challenge. And, I used a brand new stamp set that I bought this week while we were out of town, at an actual brick & mortar STAMP STORE (I never see them around anymore). I was in paradise!!!
Sorry to be behind on things, we lost our dear beloved Iris last week, she was a Siberian Husky. Been hard to create without her. She was always in my craft room with me. Hugs to all.
