MMTPT367-Aug 11, 2015-When You Walk Through a Storm
Welcome to Teapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty
and Challenge #367
You'll Never Walk Alone
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk
You'll never walk
You'll never walk alone

I didn't know Alice was ill. I know I hadn't seen her cards lately. Thanks Lisa (Shoe Girl) for alerting us. Alice is such a sweet person. Here's my card for her:

TY for the lovely challenge, and for letting us know about Marie-Alice... I always did like that song, especially when Elvis sang it...Here is my card for her..." Moonlit Peace "

I am just so overwhelmed by the kindness and love being shown by all the SCS members... I truly enjoy getting your cards... they are all so much more beautiful IRL and they really bring Joy and Hope to me...I know I have a long row to hoe but I will accomplish it all because you encourage me and stand by me....With all the prayers that have been going out for me, I know that God is listening and holding my hand through all of this...I have had two operations now in the past 2 weeks and, I still have to have my pet scan on Monday the 17th and then I start my chemo on the 20th... for 20 weeks... then more surgery and then radiation...I am very confident that I will pull through this with flying colours, all because of the encouragement and love coming from all of you.... I want to thank you for dedicating this teapot tuesday in my honour, and for the lovely video by Elvis singing, "You'll never walk alone", and I especially want to thank Sophie LaFontaine for letting everyone know about my illness and also for coming over and helping me make a thank you card for all of you....the doctor does not want me to raise my right arm due to having 12 lymph nodes taken out of my armpit and she is afraid the stitches will come undone... therefore, I try to keep my arm down as much as possible...I was able to fussy cut though... that makes me happy just being able to do some things on the card... Please keep these most beautiful cards coming as they really make my day to receive them... I have them all lined up in the living room so that I can see them all day long...they are so gorgeous...thank you again and God bless all of you....hugs to everyone... Alice (Ladybug91743.
