My cousin is seriously ill with cancer that has overtaken her body. A visit to a specialist on Friday was very disheartening and she's been told that she has only a couple of months left with us. I'd appreciate you taking a moment to say a special prayer of strength for her.
Favorite color: purple

Noah had a "Neurological Event" of unknown cause (so far) and was left having to relearn how to walk, write, etc all over again. Noah is in his early 20's and the Dr's have some theories but so far, nothing positive on the tests as to what happened. He is in stable condition now and in rehab at hospital closer to home. He loves the outdoors, animals, music and is very spiritual.

Linda (hotwheels) takes great joy in giving cards to folks at church and esp. children in need to cheer them up. However Linda's card helper is still not able to help her make cards much. Her stash is getting depleted. She would love some of your artwork and even some leftovers to help spread some love.

My DH is going in for back surgery February 26th. He has been suffering with terrible pain and having difficulty getting around. I know it would give him a real lift to receive cards. If it is possible he loves wood work and now makes beautiful knives. His family means everything to him and the church is of great importance.
He also loves fishing.
We have to go to Calgary for the surgery so will be at our daughters place. Cards can be sent to:

My husband, Dave has been undergoing chemotherapy since November for a rare non-Hodgkins lymphoma called Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia.
Dave has been working approx 70+ hours a week while he undergoes the chemo (he is on salary and does not get paid any extra and is a store manager and lately has lost a few employees- very stressful job).
He loves the Lord and Scripture, loves to watch birds and nature, baseball (Orioles), football (Ravens- purple and black), loves the color purple and royal blue and could use a bit of encouragement since he is working so many hours, he does not have any free time
My best friend Rheannon is losing her mom. She is in some need in some uplifting words to give her strength during this time. if you could please find it in your heart to send her a card, I would very much appreciate it. She loves vintage things. She has a ten year old son who loves hunting and legoes. and two gorgeous little girls that are 3 and 2 that love Frozen. Any of these would be great. They just need something to make them smile!!
One of our very own, YorkieMoma had an aortic aneurysm earlier this month and came very close to dying. She is in rehab at this time recuperating and I know she would be thrilled to receive cards from the Tea Potters.

Pam no longer has her Yorkie so might not be a good idea to include one on your card.
My Uncle Gene is a kind, loving, caring, gentle soul who, for the last 2-1/2 yrs, has been dealing with what seems like never-ending foot problems. After decades of owning a successful Tuckpointing (brick repair/restoration) business and then being a General Contractor of custom and spec homes, he retired. Soon after, he was diagnosed with diabetes. 2-1/2 yrs ago he noticed a small sore on his foot. Eventually it started healing to the point that they started doing skin grafts. That back-fired and some time ago, he had to have amputated, one toe and a small part of his foot near the toe. He has great support from his loving, one-of-a-kind wife, Nancy and help from his son Gene, Jr. Most recently, the dr's decided he would be able to start applying "light weight" to his affected foot. To prevent any problems, a shoe specialist created shoes just for him, the shoe rubbed and created a new sore. Uncle Gene has not given up hope. He is humble and grateful beyond words. He could use some encouraging words and support from the caring Teapotters. Thank you.
Uncle Gene is the author of four western books and two mysteries. Two have been published on-line. He is working on yet another book. His favorite colour is turquoise and he has a great sense of humor.

I would love for everyone to send cards to my niece Katie. She has had some very difficult times lately and very very depressed to the point of wanting giving up. Last night she fell off a ladder and broke her leg in 2 places and went into surgery today for the repair. She is only 24 years old and in need of plenty of cheer. She loves dogs, the outdoors, flowers, baking and scriptures are great.
But one of our challenge hostess' father passed away. :( She had been his caretaker and is devastated.
She rescues house rabbits
I wanted to let you know that Kyra's father has passed away. He had been in hospice for a few weeks and she knew his time was near. She was able to spend quality time with him during his journey home. If anyone would like to send her a card, here is her address:
. A friend of ours has fallen very ill. Her name is Carol Dixon and she and her husband Bob used to babysit me when I was little. They are extremely active people, and live on a farm in North Carolina with one of their sons, who used to bottle the most delicious organic habanero hot sauce I've ever had. Carol is a writer.

Cathy had to have carpal tunnel surgery on both hands a couple months ago and a follow up surgery couple weeks ago. She came through surgeries fine and is recovering but very sloooooowly. She can only do things involving fine motor skills like knitting or coloring for 1 hr a day....YIKES!! She could use some cheer and encouragement.

WOW this is so cool. Are we making any type of card ?? How on earth did you manage to get her address ?? I watched this video a couple of weeks ago and was so excited for her. Kim
My grandson, Griffin, almost 19, was her baby, and the only one still living with her, and was killed in a horrible car accident on May 3rd. She does not have much family, maybe it would help her deal with his loss a bit easier.
Anything that would bring comfort to her would be fine - Scripture verses would be appreciated, since they seem to bring her peace. Oh, and her favorite color is green!
might be a good idea to have the tea potters add to their signatures that they are stamping friends of mine, so Starla is not wondering why and where all the cards are coming from!

This is my friends adopted mother. My friends says if this woman hasn't come into her life and adopted her and loved her like no other she probably wouldn't be here. She had been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and it has moved to 3 other places. My friend is devastated about it. Her mom told her "well God must think my job is done if it is time to go." They will soon be doing aggressive chemo but the prognosis isn't good.

This week's cards are requested for a friend of a friend.
Brenda is an RN who worked most of her career in Pediatrics which takes a special breed for sure. After open heart surgery, a couple crashes and some other medical misadventures, she has had to take medical disability which has been very depressing for her. She could use some happy mail. She is very close to her daughters and church family and loves to play in the kitchen.

Marie-alice is looking forward to making cards again, once she gets enough range-of-motion back in her arm (the incisions were under her arm, so she couldn't raise it for fear of undoing the stitches). She will begin chemotherapy around August 20, and then it will end sometime around January. Then she will have a mastectomy. Then radiation. Then hopefully a complete recovery. She loves all the cards so much. They cheer her up a lot.
You might want to walk through her gallery to get a sense of who she is.
One4Joy just had a bicycle accident. Susan has trained for nearly a year for a ride she was to do 6 weeks from now but has shattered her clavicle which will require surgery. She now must cancel that ride that she worked so hard for. Susan was capable of riding centuries (100 milers). She also had a concussion.
Her outlook on life is always positive, and she knows things happen for a purpose. Nancy's right when she says Susan will be back on her bike again. It's almost like her ministry.
Her passions are her landscaping and gorgeous flowers, her bicycle and her crafting. Music. Coffee. Her kitchen and sitting area is decorated 50's diner style, lots of turquoise and coral.

My friend Suzie has MS and has now been diagnosed with lung cancer. She's been in and out of the hospital for a couple of weeks now and has had to have surgery twice to remove fluids from around her heart. She is now fighting off an infection and only then can she start the long struggle with chemo. She has now started chemo treatments.
She teaches pet safety classes to the local kids and even built and managed our local Community Animal Response Team (we set up a pet shelter next to human shelters for disaster evacuations). She teaches Pet First Aid and CPR and is a certified AKC judge.

My 14 year old son Anthony had emergency open heart surgery July 23, 2015. He was transport from palm bay hospital to Florida hospital for children via transport. He was diagnosed with dissected aortic aneursym. This is only seen in adults and rarely in children. They had to go in to replace part of his aorta and valve and repair a 5 inch tear and a small hole in his heart. The surgeon told us that he will be needing a second operation to replace the rest of his aorta. We found out that he was also diagnosed with loey dietz syndrone which is a genetic disorder that the connective tissue in the body is lacking a element to be strong and can be prone to aneursyms. Life expectancy is 26 to 37 years of age. Wednesday he had a doc appt and we were told that he has fluid at and around the bottom of the heart and that the aorta that was not replace is enlarged. They are waiting to make a decision on surgery until he goes back to the hospital on weds for the 4 mras that was schedule to see if he has anymore aneursyms. My favor i ask of you is to flood him with get well cards as he i becoming very depressed and keeps asking if he is going to die. His name and address is:

I have a very close friend and co-worker who is facing some very serious health issues. (not cureable but controllable with medication) Another co-worker and I are trying to keep her spirits up and take her mind off of her health issues.
She really needs humor in her life right now. So I would like for the cards to be humorous in nature. She is a legal assistant, loves dogs and her two sons more than anything.
Because she hasn't told her sons anything yet, the Teapotters can address the cards to me at:
