I wanted to pop in and say thank you again to everyone who has sent cards and prayers for John and our family after our most recent loss. The beauty of each card and the notes included have touched us both so much. As I said in the e-mail that I sent to Cindy, I knew our cards touched the recipients, but until we were the ones on the receiving end, I didn't realize just how much. Again, our most humble and heartfelt thank you for sharing your love and caring.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and joyfilled Thanksgiving with family and friends!!

Grace,
You and John are ever so welcome! No one can ever take away the memories that John has of his brother, and this is something he can be grateful for this Thanksgiving. Though he is gone in the physical sense, Bill lives in memories and in John himself!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Jennifer
Kathleen,
Wow, What a wonderful family photo! Madilynn is a little cherub! Definitely a face to have kisses all over! How sweet and yet so sad, that they live in San Diego! You make a great Grandma!
Well, today is bad, I din't want to let everyone know I might not be crafting for awhile.I had turned on my hot glue gun, and had to go potty, well the next thing.I knew my glue gun caught on fire, and so did everything else in my craft room. I only salvaged what was in my closet, which is my cards....and some other little items... I stopped it before it got to my glass dolls though... really bad start of thanksgiving.....I just hope there is an angel out to to help replinsh my craft supplies...... hugs and happy thanksgiving....
I was just reading this and I think my heart stopped for a second...I am sooooo sorry for you...I know you have to feel absolutely terrible...and to have to replace all that cost so much as we all know...Thank God no one got hurt though. My heart goes out to you.
Ashely, I am so VERY sorry this happened and on Thanksgiving! But I would be happy to send you a little package. Could you please list some items that you need and would like? I am sure there are others that will be able to help out too. If we all pitch in, it wont seem so bad
Awww.....well thank you....Main thing I really need is paper, and tape...lol...I have digi stamps on my computer...... I don't want to have all you trouble about a silly person like me....I use water color penicals, bec copics are way to expensive.....
thank you for you help, I really appreacaite this... I know officially never to buy cheap glue guns....espically used ones
I would be happy to send you paper! I have more than enough to share! Just need an address. You can post on here or send me a message. I am sure others would be glad to help you out too!
Thought I would share a photo of My granddaughter Madilyn with her Mom (Tiffany) and Dad (Mike). It was so lovely to have them for a short but very sweet visit!!!
Aww...Kathleen....thanks for sharing that sweet picture....what a handsome family....so glad you were able to spend a little time with them....even though it was short! You make a wonderful first time grandma....and something tells me, you will be a great second time, third time, etc. grandma as well! Tee hee!

Ladies, just been a bad year for me.....
Ashley, sorry to hear your news. But in the big picture, the things you lost is just *stuff*. Be thankful you still have your lives.....your sweet little girl.....
that is what is most important..............Instead of looking at it as a bad start to Thanksgiving, try to look at it as a good start to Thanksgiving.....be thankful that angel was protecting your lives.......
As far as being lonely, take your daughter to the park to play....many times that is a wonderful place to meet new friends....especially because they have children too and its a wonderful thing to have in common with new friends. Its a way to break the ice, bring up a conversation and get to know someone.
Hi Cindy! We had a great time with our granddaughter! The visit was short, but very sweet!!! Tiffany is such a good Mama too! Thanks for the kind words!
Ashley-we got a fairly large box of DPs in the mail to you Friday. Some you will like, some you wont...but there is a BIG variety. So you have something to look forward too. I included the names of the manufacturers, in case you wanted to list them when you make a card, or if you want to get more. But Cindy is right, always remember to be grateful for what you have and if you have your health, you are way ahead of so many!!!
awwwwwwwwwww...........thank you, and yes... I am thankful for my life...I have been writing poetry for the time being......And thank you for helping me through this, I really don't know what I would do without everyone here and there....hugs
That is awesome (about the poetry) Ashley! Sometimes the darkest days can be the most inspiring! Do you ever include it in your cards? I am so glad things are already starting to look a little brighter for you!
Kathleen what a lovely family you have! So glad you got to have a visit with them, even if it was a short one. A visit is a visit! TFS :0)
Ashley, so sorry for your disaster! But like others have mentioned, no one was hurt , it was just "stuff". Plus, it wasn't caused by burning the turkey! hehe (thought a little humor would help) Live goes on and stuff starts gathering again. Stay positive. :0)

My pc I think only knows how to go to SCS(which I found through you) and the MMTPT partys...And I regret that I haven't been involved as much as I could.
Who ever takes your place I'm sure will do a terrific job though, and I hope it can continue with everything you started..

Moooove over groceries! Good thing there's no "chicks" on his head, I'd be seriously worried!! He's adorable and looks real cuddly! Hmmm, I need to see what I can find for the soon to be grandson, maybe there's a Curt at my grocery store!
Happy New Year ladies. Some of you may remember our daughter Alix had a miserable new years 2012 as her then husband (now ex) texted her from the store that he was leaving her. What a much healed Alix visited us this Christmas. She finished doing the whole introspective thing..."what did I do wrong?" and other self deprecating questions. She is finally dating again and feeling good about herself finally realizing he was the one who should be asking "what did I do wrong?". She mentioned how well timed your cards were and what happiness they brought at a low point in her life. We all had a wonderful time in our new house and enjoyed each others company.
Cheers, Elizabeth
