My sis collects birdies....not real.....and I have picked up a few myself, fun little ceramic ones for here and there in my house. When my sis saw them, she said....ooh, start collecting birdies and then we can be birdbrains together! Snort!

That preying mantis better get his butt off that feeder! How could a preying mantis eat a hummingbird? Really????? Geeze, what a snot they all must be!!

Speaking of feeders.....I bought one, musta been a cheapy...cuz all the juice keeps seeping out! Its the pits....and I have yet to see a hummingbird....maybe too soon in Colorado????

Here's an action shot of my son.....riding a little cross country race. The guy that took the picture was laying on the ground! I hope Brad didn't run over him! Actually, knowing Brad, he probably jumped him!

Funny, my late Cockatiel was named Birdbrain, and it wasn't because he was stupid, he was a very smart bird, he was smarter than the cat! That little birdie could say "here kitty kitty"!

So sign me up to be a Birdbrain too!

Mudder your son looks to be having fun! My DH was once doing trails with a friend on motorcycles. They were going up this hill when his friend fell down. DH couldn't stop and just ran right over him! SO people do get ran over! hehe No harm done.

Dorothy this is just tooo funny ....and so rare! Hardly ever do the paparazzi catch Curt and his bros parting! hehe He really is a Party Hardy kind of cow, isn't he. Since his roots are really from Colorado, that beer they are drinking surely must be Coors Light! After all, he has to watch his weight and girly figure. hehe

Well I finally got the quilt done and thought I'd share a photo of it AND Curt appliqued. I also made some cowboy booties to put on top after I wrap it all up. Plus there is a photo of DD, her horse Nobie and tummy with little Cooper inside. Now maybe I can get back to making cards! hehe Have a great weekend all! TFL :0)

How adorable, Cathy!!! I'm glad to see that Curt gets a little spotlight on the quilt! I love the boots, can you make them in my size? hahaha! Is Jessica still riding? Little Cooper may just be born in the saddle! I love that they come over to the coast to go riding, beats the heat and the sand is a lot softer!

Guess what Curt is selling now????? Key chains with his mug on them. The booties would take to long, these are much faster and oh so cool. hehe

Just had to share this. I am so easily inspired let me tell you. I was cleaning up my e-mails and came across a tutorial for making shrinky dink squares for a bracelet and before I knew it I had drawn Curt's mug, colored and shrunk him. Like I have time for this! IEEEEEEE.....back to sewing.....still working on the banner. :0)

Well I finally finished the banner for DD's baby shower. What do you think? Funny thing, I showed it to my DD, she asks "is Cooper spelled with two "O's" or two "P's"?...Her DH says, well with two "P's" it would be "copper". She never was one for spelling. hehe.....TFL :0)
.....DD has dropped a few more hints of things she might like made so my sewing days might not be over!

Sorry about the cluttered photo, the fire place mantel was the only place I could fine to snap the photo....and yes, that is DH and me in the one photo. I was pregnant with DD in that one. Right behind that, is DD and DS when they were little. My how time flies!
