Weekly Musical Card Challenge #39 - Hint: It stings
Well ladies, I am very sorry. I think I stumped some of you with last week's song "Coat Of Many Colors" by Dolly Parton. Laurenscraft and I were the only ones that did cards for that song. So hopefully I will be able to make it up to you with this week's song. I do have to thank Lauren for playing tho. Thank you Lauren.

Woo Hoo It's time to announce this week's song. Is everybody ready?? Here we go. I do hope this makes up for last week's song. This week's song is:

If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each Saturday I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is NOT mandatory that you send your card out. You may use it for whatever you wish.
Also, please remember in order to have your name put in the drawing you MUST post your card here in the forum before next Saturday.
I got a beeee in my bonnet on this one and got going...will have to play more with the cricut cause I cut the be out backwards??? Must have been reading the French instructions! LOL
Good morning ladies. FM did you hear Lauren is threatening to use leashes in her swap?? Run Lynn run. So today I am going to be going to the post office to mail out swap envies. Then it's home to clean and make cards. My grandson's birthday is today but we are waiting until Sat. to celebrate. We are going to the lake for a cookout and dd wants to make sure the catheter is taken out. I hope it is...she has been in the ER twice now. It shifted and they had to put a new one in. Poor kid. She is just miserable. I am going to order her one of those fruit bouquets. She is not one for flowers but I bet she would like one of those. She certainly has received a bunch of beautiful cards. It seems that is the only thing she smiles about these days. But I guess I can't blame her. Well hopefully it will come out I think it is tomorrow or Wed. Oh and Ron is coming home Friday. Yay!!!! He will be home until Monday. Yay!!!! Well ladies, enjoy your day. Here's some (((((huggs))))) for those of you that want them. Hello ladies!! I've just started a new thread for a fun swap involving your embossing folders. This is my first kick at hosting a swap and I'd love it if you could join me! This isn't a card swap, it's a swap of embossed cardstock. Come on over and check out the details!
Ladies, I have an announcement to make.....tomorrow will be the very last challenge for the Musical Challenge. It just hasn't taken off like I thought it would. I want to thank you so much for playing along with me. I have had a ton of fun. Not to worry tho, the fun is not going to end. I am going to start a new challenge tomorrow called "I Spy". The object of this challenge will be: (It will be posted something like this) I spy with my little eye a......birdThis bird is grey and white in color. He has wings and a beak and feathers. He has an oval shape to his body and he loves to sing. I now challenge you to make a card using one or more of the elements of the description. You could use an oval shape, or use the colors grey and white, or use an image of a bird....etc....
I have one more part to this challenge...however, you have to come and check out the challenge thread a week from tomorrow to find out what this other part is.
This "I Spy" challenge will be taking the place of the Musical Challenge. I hope you all will continue to play in this new challenge and I hope we get more players along the way. But most importantly I hope we have a lot of fun playing this challenge with one another.

Tomorrow??? As in, just skip the musical challenge and go right into the I Spy challenge?? I can do that....is that what everyone would like? I will hold off on posting til later today to see how the rest of you feel. Lauren, I have a feeling this I Spy Challenge is going to be a fun one. I think the reason this musical challenge didn't take off is because it isn't a visual challenge. A friend of mine said that and I have to agree with her. Anyways...ladies...let me know what you think. Would you like one more Musical Challenge or should we jump right into the I Spy challenge? Okay ladies...last week was the last week of the Musical challenge. Starting today we will start the I Spy Challenge. However, because I have my grandson's bday party to go to at 11:00, I will have to wait until after to post the very first I Spy challenge. I just don't have time to make a card and I feel I should have a card as an example. So please be patient with me. I will get one made as soon I get back home and then I will post the very first ever....I Spy Challenge. I hope you all are going to play and I hope we get a lot of players. Oh I can tell you this now: if you bring a friend to play the I Spy Challenge and your friend posts a card this week...you both will get a prize. Yay!!!!! I have just come home from my friends house, she has 3 little girls, 2 at school and a nearly 3 year old. They are gorgeous, I take the girls punchies or die cuts and off cuts or scraps that I don't think I will use. The love it.
I took bird punchies to the little one, she loved them and then she shared her toys with me, this is a big thing for her, she is very shy and keeps her mum on the end of her arm at all times as her daddy is away in the middle east.
We were trying to teach the 2 older girls how to french knit, you know the cotton reel, nails and wool, makes a tube or long snake thingie..... Well the newfangled dollies are a bit tricky for little ones, so I have come home to find some wooden cottonreels, I know I have some. They would be easier as they hold the wool better for putting it over the nail....
Dani!!! Dani!!! Dani!!! She's gotta come up for air sometime!! You know my brain is just soo frazzled I have no idea what type of mischief to get into???
Lauren...Lauren....what kind of trouble can we get into?? I't nice and cool over there so I'll come and wait on the step...I'm going to bring my EF with me and we can trade!!!
You'd think with Dani being a little "pre-occupied" with hubby home for the weekend, we could certainly think of something to do.......hmmmm......lets see. I know I should be working on some of my swaps that are due soon and finish organzing my craft room if Lynn and Kristyn are coming over.....but I can't seem to get my butt moving to do any of that right now!!
HI Everyone! JCI The I Spy challenge sounds like fun. My creativity has slowed to a crawl lately. I've been working lots in my art journals but no cards or anything else. Hope you all are having a good day!
Just spoke to Dani and she is having issues with her eyesight. She is scheduled for some test so as soon as she can she'll be back on to let us know how she is.
