Good Morning. I am home from Green Bay. On the drive up yesterday, I received a call that they were limited the spectators to 4 people per team member/coach, so there would only be 88 fans for each team. No general admission at all. So, the 4 games yesterday were held with that "crowd", but we knew things might change for future games. So many college and pro leagues canceled yesterday along with many high school state associations too-with the surrounding midwest states doing so too. They announced late last night that the rest of the girls state games and the final round of the boys, plus state next week were also canceled. There was so much that changed since about 5:00 Wednesday night, that I believe they had no choice. They tried with the limited crowd, but that just was a bandaid for the day. So--I am home............ Happy Friday the 13th and pre-Pi day--3.14!
Happy Pi and Pie Day! Things sure have changed in the past day. All of the public schools in the state have been cancelled as of next Wednesday, but most are starting as of Monday. I am so glad I am a retired teacher and only need to look from the outside........ We are watching Jasper for a few days until Jill gets home from Phoenix--she is scheduled to come home on Tuesday but is trying to get an earlier flight. I am so glad I have a hobby in the lower level that I can do while being home--Getting Inky Today! Stay safe everyone!
All our schools and our church is closed for the next few weeks. My work is still open but we are trying to figure out how to work from home. Crazy times but between card making and quilting I have plenty to do.
Stay safe and all everyone.

Hi Ladies, my cards arrived, I'm in for the next round.
I just arrived home from a 3 week trip on Thursday. My cards/images are here and since we're "grounded" and working from home the next few weeks I plan to get these done this week and sent out

Hey everyone. Looks like many are in the same boat as us...schools were cancelled tonight, so spring break comes a week early. I'm still going into work right now, but expect to be on work from home with in a week or two.
Good Morning--Happy Monday. This week will be like nothing any of us have probably ever experienced. Be sure to be safe and take care of yourself! Our friend Jill did get a flight home from Phoenix yesterday so she picked Jasper up in the afternoon. Now, we are watching Maggie as her mom Claudia is heading to Green Bay to help her sister with some painting for a few days. It is good to be able to dog sit and enjoy the time with our furry friends. I am heading to Sarah's for a stamp class this morning, but this might be the last one for awhile. I have a shelter board meeting Wednesday but it is going to be offered as a conference call too so I am not sure if I am driving in or not. That is two days away and many things can change by then!

All I can say is I am glad we have crafts to keep us company. I am finishing projects that I have started and reading books that I have wanted to read. They have even closed our library which is sad. I hope to go to store today and find some peanut butter. A staple at our house.
This looks a bit like Maggie as she is a Golden Retriever--but a much lighter color. We are headed out for a walk with her in a bit and then heading to the town hall to vote by absentee ballot. Then, time in the stamp room and I am sure that I will be there often in the next few weeks. Be Safe Everyone!
Good Morning! Here is another day of the unknown.................. and we all should have a smile on our face as we have a hobby to keep us busy while at home! I am in the middle of a conference call for the Humane Society as about half of the board is calling in for our monthly meeting instead of meeting in person. Things are changing by the minute--that is for sure. All of the bars and restaurants were closed as of 5 yesterday and I am so sad for them as we have some close friends who are in the industry. Yesterday, we did a carry out of Irish food from a restaurant that is owned by our friend who is our church organist. We have pledged to do that at least once a month to try to help her out. Please--be safe out there!
So I came down with a cold and didn't go into work yesterday, but woke up to an 5.7 Earthquake. That was an interesting experience. I was like, really, is this happening right now. We are blessed that there was no damage to our house, and because most people were home, the damage was minimal compared to what it could have been, as it happened as people were leaving for work or would have been leaving for school. The aftershocks have been a little nerve wracking, we felt a 3.3 one this morning about the same time as yesterday's earthquake, and it was like whoa, not another one. They say we could have aftershocks for a week.
I am feeling better, but not 100% so I didn't go into work again today. I told my boss normally I would have gone in, but I don't dare right now. Crazy times we are living in. I hope I feel well enough to "play" in my craft area today.
Hope you are all doing good.
~Jody

WOW--has this been a long week. I can barely remember what Monday or last weekend was like.......... and things continue to change every day. Stay Safe!
Good Morning Inky Friends! Yes, these are trying times and we are not sure each day what the news will bring. But, despite a dusting of snow this morning, spring is coming to Wisconsin and we look forward to the flowers popping. We currently have 9 trays of little, baby plants in our basement under lights--flowers and vegetables. We plan to move some of the lettuce plants to the green house in a few days when the chance of freezing overnight is gone. We bought our fish fry as carry out Friday afternoon from our favorite restaurant, owned by our church organist. Everyone else had the same idea as all of the area restaurants were slammed and had a hard time keeping up with carry out orders. I hope that people continue to order in the future for lunch and other weekdays so they are able to stay in business. We too had our church service live streamed yesterday--another new normal............... I have a quick trip to the post office today and we are planning a trip to Costco tomorrow morning when they open from 8-9 for Senior Shoppers! Keep a smile on your face and we will all get through this!
We are under "Enforceable" orders to stay at home. Allowed trips are groceries, gas, caring for elderly/family.
Not sure that I consider going to the PO essential during this.
My questions:
1. Should we extend the due date to accommodate all of us who are dealing or will be dealing with similar restrictions?
2. Would you rather keep the deadline and perhaps I can trade and host a different round if I can't get to the PO in time? Right now our stay at home order is through April 7, all indicators is that it will last longer. I think our Governor wants to limit further panic and hoarding so supplies can get to us here in WA state.
I think we should just plan on extending and keeping the deadline open ended until everybody gets their cards in. Most of us don’t start the next set of cards until a couple of weeks before they’re due anyway. ;) Even if we have a deadline ending up being beginning to mid May. I think we will still be fine and getting the new images and next set of cards done by the June date.
However, if somebody is willing to change with you and send images for the next round, I’m fine with that too. But everybody still have to be able to get their cards in. And with the Post Office new rules that went into effect in January, if a package is more than an inch thick and has stamps on it-versus printed online, it cannot just be picked up by your mailman or dropped in a blue box. It must be taken into a post office window. So even if you don’t send in the next images Darlene, you’re still gonna have to figure out a way to mail your cards.
I am open for any other suggestions and just want to make this easiest for everybody.
Yes. Heather-Jadeonline is in Canada. Let’s wait to see how things pan out and then maybe you can keep a set of images and send directly to her if needed. That way she won’t be waiting for the next round of image if we’re going to be postponing the deadline. However, unless it gets really late to the June deadline I’m sure we will still be fine with getting the mail to Canada. Let’s just put it on the wait-and-see burner.

This is a friendly reminder of what day it is as they seem to all run together! Not much changes from day to day. We did go to Costco yesterday and that was an experience. We did not need TP or Paper Towels and that was good as there was a long line in the store in the back where those are kept with an employee putting one package in each cart. Some of the bunkers of meat and chicken were empty but I think it was due to the fact there were still many stockers in the store as it had opened 2 hours earlier than usual. Some limitations that I did not expect like only one package of eggs-we had planned to get a second for a friend. The checker did not touch our card, asked us to take the receipt from the cash register and the checker at the door barely took a look at our cart on the way out. I think we were in and out in 15 minutes--and that is a good thing! Next time we will go later in the hour open for Seniors, like 8:45 or so as it might be less crowded. We also went for a walk on the bike trail yesterday as it was warm and sunny. And, then time in the stamp room and that will be repeated today--after time on the treadmill. Have a good one!
Good Morning---Yes, it is a Monday though I do need to think when I wake up each morning what day it is. The weekend was not very exciting--a walk on the bike trail Saturday afternoon, a dinner with Claudia and her dog Maggie Saturday night, church service at the counter on Sunday morning while Rebecca sang at church for the FB live. Plus, more time in the stamp room for me while Rebecca paints-she finished the spare bedroom, is working on the hallway and our closet is next on the list.
You are keeping busy Barb. I have made 25 masks and taking a break for now on that project. Finished up a baby quilt yesterday. Today I am working on arranging my craft room and put my projects in order.
