this challenge sounds like fun, would like to play along only am not sure of the timing as I'm in Australia... I checked on google and it said EST=UTC-5 and OZ is =UTC+10 so I'm guessing that means I have to wait 15 hours from the specified times. Can anyone clarify this for me?
Stamps4ree, I think we will have to wait until tomorrow, unless you want to stay up rather late. I figured it would start at about 1am our time. I could be wrong, though.
Happy world card making day! I just uploaded my first card of today and I hope there will follow many more today, because I am really looking forward to all the challenges today!
yay, happy world card making day! now, hopefully i can squeeze in some play time between ds's football game this morning and our cookout this afternoon!!
Is it time yet? I'm hoping to be able to squeeze in a few of the challenges as I have my 15 yr reunion to go to tonight. So I gotta get all beautiful for that ;)

my world card making day is almost over--not really, It's 4:30 in the afternoon, though. I think I'll stay up late tonight to play!!! Happy Day to all in the states!! Wish I was there!!
I can;t wait to play! Havta do the soccer and cheerleading thing first...Today is the Peanut Bowl (football)! LOL! But at least it will all be over with by 3pm today! Be back later!
this is my first post. I am kind of looking forward to this. I used to be a SU demo, but then I discovered clipart and nothing has been the same ever since.
I still have some stamps, and pads. I love to make cards. I'll figure it out!

Whoooo HOOOOOO! Happy World Cardmaking Day to everyone! I've got 2 hours to get my stamping room back in order to hopefully have the opportunity to play today. That is, if the every-day chores don't get in the way...like yard work, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, running errands, eating....you get the idea! ;)
One of the challenges will be a color challenge, and they will specify what colors to use on the card - and they may specify them using SU names. I don't have any SU paper, but I downloaded the SU catalogue to use as a guide to match the colors with what I have.
This is great! thanks for suggesting this. I downloaded the cattie too and was able to capture the colors page and print it. Woohoo! now I can participate in the color challenges as well since I don't use SU inks, paper etc..

Hello all I"m new to this type of challenge too. I was wondering about the chat part. can anyone explain to a newbee ?? Is the "chat" posts in here or a chat room somewhere? If so could you help a lost traveler find a link?

Where can I find this catalogue? I want to participate and this sounds like the perfect solution!

I'm READY! DH got up at 0700 EST and helped me to move my work stations from my studio into the living/dining room and he built a fire in the fire place - so it's now toasty warm. It's very chilly here today (Northeastern Massachusetts) and we didn't want to turn on the heat.
I am so blessed that he is so supportive. He helped me with the AM chores (feeding the dogs and walking them, dishes, laundry), and now he's off to Michael's to pick up some things for me that I was getting low on. What a guy! Can't wait to get started!
Hubby got the time adjustment wrong for the UK - was all ready to play and checked what I had missed and now I am too early. Hopefully there is a master list of challenges so I can come back tomorrow and see all the ones you had while we slept. Still got several hours of play time left yet!
Now that I've completed the regular Saturday Inspiration Challenge, I have an hour to do my chores and get ready for a marathon of challenges. It's going to be a wild day -- let the games begin!
