Just got my awesome package from Joan. Thank you thank you thank you! So many items. I love the box of matches, never saw those before. I will definitely need the energizing of the mind and body from the mint and rosemary soap, it has been a rough 3 weeks. So many stamp sets. My daughter is eyeing up the crown album kit.
I posted on the regular site but thought I'd better post here too as I want to make sure my wonderful secret santa sees how grateful I am. Here is my post:
I got my package yesterday from my SWEET secret santa, Alison (Ali1974). I had just opened my package when my sister called. I made her stay on the line while I opened each item and told her what I received. My sister is a scrapper too and she was so impressed. Alison thought of everything - tea, coffee, chocolate, bling, stamps (my favorite silver fairy : ), flowers, stickers, a big shot die, christmas baking cups, and a darling handmade post it note notebook. I am so thankful, Alison!
Elizabethanne was my secret santa....what a nice package she put together for me...to much to list it all with out it in front of me...but every item will work great for a orange and black scrapbook I'm making!!! plus some extras for christmas cards too....Thank you very, very much elizabeth!! I loved each and every item and it will all get used!!
Oh neat things ladies. It is so much fun reading what everyone receives. Have jammies on and going to watch Christmas In Rockerfeller Center (watch that each year) and have pumpkin pie with cool-whip. Love, hugs and prayers=grandmajudy

Oh ladies, it looks like everyone is receiving wonderful gifts. Thank you all for participating this year. And y'all are so welcome. I do plan to host this again next year, however, my hope is to hit 100 Santas. We made the 50 mark this year so....hopefully we can up it next year. I love all of the Christmas Stamps and the Riley Stamp is just darling. I can't wait to use the Spellbinders dies and the Sew Stamps!!! I just love everything! The mail just went and I got the most AMAZING package from my Secret Santa! Thank you so much Wendy Smith (AKA SayStampsPlease) Such wonderful, gorgeous handmade items and The card was so cute and I got a four pack of clear mount boxes, The wide red grosgrain ribbon from SU, a Christmas background stamp (gorgeous!), deco borders, chipboard letters, letter stamp set (I really needed some letter stamps, I had none!), Christmas 6x6 paper, pearls, small rubber stamp that says Best Christmas fishes, ornament stamp set, paper flowers, and those amazing handmade pieces and die cuts. I would love to know if you made the white rope flowers and HOW? The card was adorable with the wreath and the plate above the wreath that says happy holidays! Can you tell I'm excited? She went the extra mile and wrapped each item, so it was just like Christmas morning! Thanks again Wendy! You did an awesome job picking things that I absolutely love!!

I did make the white flowers. I love making them in different yarns, twine & crochet thread and in different sizes too! I'll see if I can find the directions I use and post it here.

Santa arrived at my house early!!! And boy, did I get a wonderful package!!!!!! But I don't think it was really Santa....but one of his best elves ever.....Terrie McNulty!
Terrie, I love everything you sent!! And it couldn't have come on a better day because work has been...well, trying....the last few days.
Ah, so now to list what was in this package:
An SU Brad & Ribbon combo - not just "plain" brads - but very pretty ones with designs, flowers, or butterfiels. These will be great to use with spring cards. And the ribbon is so pretty - Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral. The funny thing is that orange really wasn't a color I liked much and never used until Viv's color swap one year and now I find that I really enjoy using orange shades. Funny how things like that work out huh?
SU Ink Pads - These are prefect colors for the Pregnancy Center cards I make - Pretty in Pink and Tempting Turquoise....pink and blue...just like the perfect baby card.....
And speaking of the cards for the Pregnancy Center - "Precious Baby Quotes" clear stamp set by Friskars. Perfect! So many choices - 20 stamps total! I have...are you ready for it....1 stamp (LOL!!) that I use for all the baby cards on the inside. These will be perfect and allow for some variety. And even for the outside of the card too!
BLING! Can anyone ever have enough bling (or ribbon)? "Bits of Bling" is what the package was called and it is various sizes of flower gems in clear, pink, blue, yellow, green, and purple.
And then the journal...I love things by Dayspring!! And this is so pretty! Plus it's the perfect time to receive it too since a new year is starting soon and so will a new journal for that year.
And last, but certainly not least, in typical Terrie fashion - a beautiful card that truly brought a smile to my face.
Terrie, thank you so much for blessing me beyond what you can ever imagine....and not just me...but also blessing those new moms and little babies at the Pregnancy Center....because now you have your hand in it too. It will just be another jewel in your crown when we are on the other side.
