oh hey...great to have you...I'll be posting the first mojo boosting challenge in about a week so stay tuned for more fun....and laughs at my expense as I try to get this rolodex thingy done....heehee
I'm a little confused so can someone tell me what the two challenges are and how they work? I think I am interested but want more ifo before I comitt. thanks
Parishnurse....I will gladly PM you this eve when get home from work....morning brain doesn't think to clearly some days...heehee....if you want to read the first few posts on this and the Christmas card one and PM me with a list of questions, that would work also and I'd be able to answer your questions better. both are pretty laid back, not many rules....I will check back in this eve after about 9 pm when home.
And we're off!!! Thought I'd get this started a little early as Christmas is sneaking up on me and don't want to get behind.
So for the first challenge:
How many of you have 3 bazillion cards in your favorites that you always mean to CASE? Well, I know I do, so this first challenge is to go to your favorites and CASE a card from there. Don't forget to link us to the card you are CASing. And for you newbies that don't have a favorites file built up yet, how about going to new cards posted today and find something fun.
I have 2 sisters with birthdays in Jan and will try to do a couple for the stash box also. never can have to many b-day cards...
I really enjoyed this last year so, sign me up fo 2013.
I use a calendar to keep track of birthdays, etc.
One year my DS1 decided he wanted to trey living with his dad...so for Christmas I made him a custom calendar and had all the b'days for our whole family including my ex's new wife's kids.
That was the coolest thing I'd ever made I think, since he has kept it since 1997! LOL
Sharon reminded me I forgot to put the keywords on the main challenge list...whooops...if anyone else notices anything wonky or thinks of a way to make things simpler to understand, please let me know....This is the first time I've actually been in charge of the whole she-bang and I'm learning as I go...
Oh I like this challange...I have many favorites just waiting to be cased.
I did good the other day...I made two valentine's day cards. One thing I'm going to try to do this year is when I'm sign up for swaps (and oh I do so many) instead of making the what's required. I'm going to make a couple extra to have on hand...I used to do that when I first started swapping, but then I don't know what happened..that stopped. :( So I think that might just keep me ahead this year. between that and the challenges!!
I just found this thread. I love a challenge to modivate me. I love to make cards, but getting them done with a looming deadline and sending them are hard. I hope between this and the Stamp 2 Shop challenge I will be thrifty and get more cards out.
Just came across this thread and as I've signed up to the Christmas challenge thought I' give this a go. However, didn't understand Challenge No 1, what do you mean by CASE and CASing? Pleae make allowances for a crafter from across the pond!

Hi Ruth! CASE is an acronym for Copy and Share Everything. Find a card you really like and make it your own. If you have the original in your gallery under favorites, or you found it on a blog, please share a link so that person gets credit for the original and we can all see what inspired you.
Thanks so much Angie for answering...I was off yest but totally wiped after working 58 hrs in 4 days and barely got out of bed....we are down 5 nurses on day shift and it's been wild...needless to say, my phone is unplugged for couple days...
so good to see some more gals wanting to play along. will get you added to the master list so we can all watch for your cards...
Well VikkiJo, the roladex thingy wasn't working...to many events some months...AND I didn't want to cut the cards up....so I've got a new plan with a Smash book someone gave me that I'll never use....will let you know how that works...
Since I am considered the world's best PROcrastinator (that is, a person who gets paid for crastinating ), I believe this challenge might be good for me. Sign me up and I'll try to improve... not procrastinating.
Ummm, how do you get paid for procrastinating....I believe that would be the perfect job for me....I'd be a millionaire....teehee
It was in a cartoon. The one with the cavemen. Peter goes to the "dictionary rock" to look up the word procrastinator. The definition is: a person who gets paid for crastinating which is not even a word. Ha!
Hi Sheri! Just found this thread from the link in your signature (glad you like the rooster cup; that was a fun recipe swap and having you as my sis made it even more fun! I loved the "thank you" package I received from you!)
Great motivation for creating those much needed all occasion cards!
Alrighty, I would love to join in 'cause one of my 2013 goals (ha! no resolutions, just goals!) is to send birthday cards, thank you cards, and such, but I need to have a stash on hand to do that! My "goal" is 3 cards a month....keeping the number low so I can be an "over-achiever!" LOL
welcome Jana and Vickie....glad to have you here with the overachievers....No quotas here....just whatever you need....I'm planning on doing some each month for the stash also....I never have enough thank you cards y'know....
welcome cat lover.....so glad to have you here...you found the fun group to hang with....we will have lots of fun chatter and encouragement goin on here....
