OMG this is too much fun, thank you Splitcoast, World Card Making Day is almost as good as Thanksgiving!

Just so everyone knows there is a break between challenges until 6:00pm EST when we will start up again!!

So keep stamping and maybe have a snack or some caffeine to keep you going!!!

I'm doing mine this year with a friend who I've just got to join us here on SCS and she can't wait. So because we are Aussie's and the start time ends up being 1am Sunday morning here. She and I will be staying up all night to play together while our families sleep.

This means two things. We are guilt free, no having to worry about meals for family members, you can't clean a house in the middle of the night (it's too noisy), the washing doesn't dry on the clothes line in the dark, etc. The perfect time for two crafty girls to get together and do what they do best. Have fun with WCMD ideas here on SCS!!!

Bring on 1am ladies and gents, we have everything ready to go and the snacks are all lined up and the kettle is filled up and ready to go.

I did not know that! learn something new everyday here at SCS! :mrgreen: I did know about not cleaning at night, but then I don't like to clean in daylight because if you polish too much you get that nasty reflection and it hurts my eyes. I thin coat of dust always cuts down on the glare. Clean windows same problem-I let the dog lick then clean. :rolleyes: Need to get into the stamping room

Ok, I finally got my crafty guest room somewhat cleaned up so I can try a challenge. Are you supposed to do them within a 45 min. time frame like the VSN challenges?

It would be best if everyone did a single card for each seperate challenge.

Wow, I'm exhausted! I got 14 cards done today! I'll upload most of them tomorrow; my batteries died so I have to get new ones before I can do the rest! These challenges were so much fun! I'm hoping to do a couple more tomorrow. Thanks to all the wonderful hostesses!

Yay! I did all of the challenges. My Gallery hasnt seen this much action in months. Thank you to all of the lovely hostesses for the various challenges and the companies for sponsoring them.

I had a blast! My new craft room got a good workout this weekend. :-)

Oh, I just sent 32 cards to Operation Write Home last week. Just remember, stampers, OWH can't take cards with glitter. They say the glitter gets on our soldiers and makes them visible at night. Who knew?

I only was able to do a few of the challenges, ended up going to see my dad yesterday, he just got out of the hospital, and wasn't feeling that well today. But I plan to do the rest of the challenges so that I can have more cards to send to Operation Write Home. My DH and his Company got cards from OWH on his last deployment and they all loved it, so I feel like this is a way we can give back, I can send more cards in for more soldiers to send home.

I completed a few more, just not all of them as I am pretty slow. I agree - SO MUCH TALENT.
