For this weeks sketch I have lifted a sketch from my July 2005 issue of Creating Keepsakes. I heard chatter this week about wanting circles so I am giving them to you! hehehehe!
HERE IS SKETCH SBSC47 *it is in word format so I am putting it here.
UPDATE!!!!! IT IS REALLY HERE TOO!!! I got it to JPEG format!!!!
I didn't do an 8 1/2 x11 because I thought that these were really easy to adjust to the 8 1/2 x 11 size. THE OFFICIAL RULES ARE HERE
I am attaching the page from the Creating Keepsakes Magazine!

BETSYJO'S writeup!!!
Wow, what a fun honor to be named Diva of the Week! I love sharing my scrapbook layouts here on SCS as well as seeing everyone elses creations! I am inspired daily by all of you wonderful scrappers!
I have been scrapbooking for about four years now. I started right about the same time I married my wonderful hubby, Matt. We now have one spunky little two year old boy named Jackson. They both provide me many scrapbooking opportunities! Jack keeps us on our toes but he is just so darn sweet (Matt and I say that a lot)! We also have a dog named Conan and a cat named Gary. I have been a Stampin Up! demo for four years now, and I just love it! I love showing others how to be creative through stamping and scrapbooking. I have been the athletic trainer at a nearby high school for the past five years. I have dearly loved and appreciated my job, but I am resigning at the end of July to be a stay-at-home-mom and provide home daycare for a few kiddos! I am really looking forward to a change of career!
My scrapbooking motto is Capturing moments through art. I am passionate about my life, my family, and my art. Scrapbooking is the perfect way to combine these three passions. I have never been very good at keeping a written journal, so for me scrapbooking is my life journal. On my layouts I am able to tell a story about my life. I like to think that as someone looks through my scrapbooks, they are capturing the essence of who I am. I actually prefer to scrapbook little everyday moments rather than events such as birthdays and holidays! I love scrapbooking LIFE.
I am addicted to scrapbook sketches and idea books. My favorite famous scrapbooker is Ali Edwards. She inspires me in so many ways! I love her style and her scrapbooking mission. Ali considers herself a life artist. I consider myself a life artist too!
I have tried defining my scrapbooking style, but I have yet to find the perfect definition! I like trying new techniques and ideas. I try to do something new and different on every layout. I like good use of color, interesting photo orientation, and embellishments that help tell the story of the layout.
I like my current scrapbooking style, but I know that it is always evolving! I love looking back at some early scrapbooks to see my many different styles! I dont ever change any of my finished pages, no matter how much I dont like them anymore! To me, the evolving scrapbooking style is all part of this wonderful process of scrapbooking.
I find inspiration everywhere around me! I find interesting patterns, colors, and ideas in magazine ads, on clothing, and on food packaging. I am always thinking What can I do next in my scrapbooking?
I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful and fulfilling hobby! Thanks for choosing me as this weeks scrapbooking Diva!
Congratulations Betsy! You're a great choice for this weeks Diva. I have admired your work and love looking through your gallery, of course it helps that you have a very special little guy that you have some fun pictures of to scrap! I loved your "Too Cool" page when I first saw it and when I brought up this weeks sketch I was excited to see this was the one that was chosen. Have some ideas for pages, we'll see if they work!
Betsy in my eyes is an amazing scrapper! I love looking through your gallery and can always spot your pages and your little man! I have always loved your creations and now that I have gotten to know you better, love chatting with you too! Your pages always inspire me - GREAT JOB!
YEAH!!!! Great job with the sketch challenge Darcy. I'm sure Tracy appreciates the little break. I love the sketch. Hopefully I'll have time to do it. If not I'll definately do it later. Congratulations Betsy Jo. You're one of my favorite scrappers in here. I love all of your layouts and your style.

YAY Betsy!!!
Hey, I have a question. Does Gary look like a snail? hee hee j/k
I'm in a silly mood today, and I think I need to lay off the SpongeBob episodes!
Totally syked about the sketches, I hope I'll get to play this week!
Congrats Betsy Jo!!!! I was very excited when Darcy told me her choice...You are a fabulous inspiration Betsy...we love ya girl!
Ditto to what she said! BetsyJo, you are fab! Knowing that you've been a demo all this time, gives me hope that one day my pages will be as good as yours!!!
OMG! Betsy does the bestest pages. Both sketches this week are FABULOUS! I am really going to have to work outside my comfort zone - everything I do is so linear - this is going to be so much fun.

January pages scrapped 1/10
Yay - I finally did one. I am not sure how exact the submissions need to be, I only used four circle photos instead of five, since my photos were too big. Anyway I hope you like it.
Thanks for looking. I think I am linking it here. We'll see... ;)
Hey ya'll! Just wanted to remind you that all SBSC47 pages are automatically entered into Tracy's wonderful prize drawing! click HERE to read Tracy's post about her AWESOME drawing! So.....GET SCRAPPIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see lots more SBSC this week!

I finally was able to do a page tonight. This was a real challenge for me since I always have to have everything straight. I used my new stamp set big deal alphabet to do the title.
I did the circle sketch challenge - phew! it was HARD for me! I did only 4 circles because of photo size and also did not add the matting circles because I had so many circles going on in the papers. Well that's my excuse anyway! Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It's a scraphappy day for Mary! hurray! I did the other sketch this afternoon - Betsy's. Talk about intimidating! Betsy, you are an awesome scrapper with such an eye for style, layout and colors! Here is my page based on the sketch Darcy made from your page! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I really LOVE the sketch with the circles, but how are you guys doing the large curve on the right side? Are you using a 12x12 size? Just curious because I know the coluzzle doesn't cut that big! THANKS!

I used 12x12 paper to cut mine and traced around my largest frying pan, then cut the old fashioned way - scissors!
