Fiskars Plates work great

I got the wizard embossing mat and it works great. Before I got the mats I used an old mouse pad with good results. Most of the embossed things in my gallery are made with the fiskars embossing...

I don't even own a stamp and scrub I just use paint edgers. I have a several of them, when the stamps aren't getting clean enough I move the drying edger to the cleaning side and get a new drying...

Photocopies of sticker sheets

If you are just looking to index what the images are in SU sets I always cans/photocopy the sticker sheet before mounting the stamps. This way I have an index without wasting ink or cleaning fluid....
