Your original idea (iris folding) might work since you have a variety of colors to use. Maybe use a heart for the stencil. and then hang the silver heart in the middle.

Mostly depends on how many pictures for me, too. If I have a lot to choose from , then I make two. I don't think different pages look bad at all! You need to do what you like and feel comforable...

Direct to paper means using the ink directly onto the paper...without help of any stamp, tool, etc. For example: If you wanted to get a worn look, you would crumple the paper and then flatten it out....

I must say, at the beginning, I look at all my magazines,websites, etc. I bombard myself with wonderufl ideas. Then I usually CASE a lot! Love checking out what everyone has done, case 4,5,6 of them...
